Oh gosh--this is the LP I learned this song from! And a few years ago, as a third-grade teacher, I used it to teach the song to my class. One little girl looked at the record and said, "That's so cool! How do you rewind it?" :D I love this version.

The first time I heard this song was when I saw the Irish Rovers live for my 24th birthday (almost 16 years ago). I've remembered & loved it ever since. It was a regular concert favorite of the guys - not sure if it still is. This is the only recording of the Rovers playing it - it's available on a compilation ('36 all-time greatest hits'), which I believe is a 3-CD set.
