I flared too soon and it dropped me. Looking back I could have landed without turning off the engine. I think I just wanted to get on the stinking ground!
Gene, Gene, the dancing machine! Man, you were just rockin'-and-a-rollin' up there eh? We all have flights like these now and then, just gotta muscle through it and put it back on the ground soon as you can safely. There's no fun in flying these things when you're fightin' the winds the whole time and no one is passing out trophy's if you do. Glad you made it back down safe Bro.
Yep - that looked scary. I didn't like how close you were to the trees during take-off. You may have been on the lee side of the mountain when you started rocking back and forth and took a nose dive.
