AC/DC has mostly sucked since the early 80s, Chilis since the mid 90's. AC/DC used to be a wild rock 'n' roll band, until they became a meaty arena rock band with (sorry) closeminded fans with poor taste, so no wonder that they wouldn't realise why this is pretty awesome. The Chilis just became lame in general. Either way, even when AC/DC were at their best (Let There Be Rock), it was a whole different kind of thing than the funk rock of RHCP, so why bother having an argument like the ones here?

ACDC basically is the definition of mainstream in their time, not innovative at all. Just another hard rock, classic rock band. The chili peppers created the bridge between rock and rap, something that is constantly used today. They have left a much bigger mark on the history of music than ACDC could ever wish to leave
