Just random stuff I recently played on pc mostly. Console gamers are the ignorant ones bringing multiple consoles against the pc.
Another thing is consoles are built specifically for gaming. PC's arent and gaming on a PC is friggen power-hungry!(and space-hungry, etc) which may not be a problem for some but it can be problematic for those who use PC for more important things other than gaming. In my experience its good to keep your games and all your other work (work documents, video editing, etc) on seperate system. Plus some ppl just dont want to spend all thet money/space on GAMES, consoles do the job just fine. :)

I've never even heard of any of these games so why should I care? PC gaming is better for skill based online multiplayer games (RTS, FPS) because it gives you more control. Good luck playing a RTS with two analog sticks. Also you can mod PC games. If consoles let you use a mouse and keyboard then I might consider playing on a console.
Mouse and keyboard give you more control than a controller in FPS and RTS. Not even arguable. PC also lets you customize rates and video settings and make competitive configs with modding. Also dedicated servers, no shitty matchmaking.
Actually I forgot fighting games and I'm not sure if they would be better with a keyboard or a gamepad.
Those can't be played competitively online so I don't care.

@AnonymousXXXXXX i hope you know that you can buy a variety of controllers for the PC. Console exclusives? If you really want one of those, save some money and buy a console. They're really not that expensive unless you're a minimum-wage worker. But PCs give you the customization options that consoles don't. The owner gets to choose what he wants inside, how much it will cost, and most of the time upgrading a PC isn't that hard (until your mobo goes completely obsolete).

The terms between PC and Console is very balanced. So, first I will start off with your video. I believe you should study more before you talk about any pc. I think the biggest thing you missed to mention is horrible DRM. I had to buy Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena twice on PC because it only allows 3 installs. And I refuse to buy any of the new Ubisoft games with their new DRM.

In addition, a lot of exclusive games-- ranging from mainstream games to niche titles-- aren't available on PC and can't be emulated yet. Where's the PC port of Phantom Dust? DeathSmiles? Bayonetta? Raiden IV? Ketsui? Muramasa: The Demon Blade? Very few of the PC indie alternatives interest me.

@MrLegionnare The giant robot fight was amusing but I felt it was shallow to the point of being a parody of fighting games at best. (sort of like how the shitty overworld from NMH1 was supposed to be a parody of sandbox games) I like most of Suda's games (except for Contact and Flower, Sun, and Rain) but it seems he confuses parodying bad game design with outright creating bad game designs.
I liked the story's pacing in NMH2 but GODDAMN, dat ending, man... And JB Jr. was a terrible final boss.

2. Audio has a lot of background noise. Is your webcam mic's sensitivity, or is it just picking up noise from your computer? Either way, maybe a bit of post-production noise-canceling can fix it.

Rpg mostly just fails because they start of with a great mind thinking oh i have the time to do this and along the way they see there is much more to do in the game and they don't have the time nor the people or persistance for it and they wound up with a half assed game.

@moonshad0w About emulators, though... They'll have quite a while to wait before they can run PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube games well, and they'll be waiting years until Wii, 360, and PS3 emulators are even half-decent.
But if they're okay with missing out on this generation's gems for a good decade or so, then it's their loss.
Also, while a lot of PC gamers do spend a lot on upgrading, they usually do it out of pure choice. You can run most games just fine on older sub $200 video cards, given you may need to turn down settings on some games. I was a console gamer for years until a friend convinced me to try out the PC, easily the best gaming platform I've ever used. I'll admit that I do wish some games had a PC release, but games like Gmod or any other Source games(for mods) make up for that several times over.
@UnforgivingCookie I will admit that PC gamers have the advantage of playing FPS with proper controls, and mods. I tend to judge a system by its games and not its functionality, though, and while mods are nice, they don't make up for a lack of varied software in my eyes. The fact that most non-FPS/RTS/MMO games for PC are homebrew is just saddening. Sure, there's some great indie games out there, but where's my GGXX Accent Core, my Mercenaries, my Raiden IV, my No More Heroes 2?
I understand completely, I'm a big FPS player myself so PC is best for me. The only problem I have with consoles is the controller, not just with FPS, but almost any game I have a hard time playing with them. If there was a way to use a keyboard+mouse on an Xbox 360 that would be great.
Oh, c'mon. You'd honestly rather play an action game (i.e. Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, The Red Star, ZOE2, etc) with a keyboard...? Or other games DESIGNED for analog sticks, like Katamari Damacy, Gitaroo Man, etc?
And then there's games designed for an arcade joystick. (shmups, fighters, etc) These generally transfer better to a D-pad than a keyboard, especially fighters. (SHORYUKEN is a cunt to do on any keyboard, personally...)
Plus, the Saturn controller is like a blessing unto mankind.
Now, if you grew up with mouse+keyboard, then I could see you being able to handle games designed for the D-pad. But I recall a debate with some PC elitist a while back who claimed he could play ANY game with a mouse+keyboard. Including games designed for 360-degree analog movement (such as Devil May Cry), not just 8-direction digital.

@stafax Don't you get it? Ubisoft has been trying to tell us that they want people to pirate their games. This is evident by how much less of a hassle it is to just pirate their shit than pay for it.

@AnonymousXXXXXX Oh I definitely get it, that's why I downloaded Splinter Cell Conviction instead of paying for it. I'm a big Splinter Cell fan, and I'm also very against video game piracy, but their DRM is like a huge middle finger to anyone who wants to pay to play their pc games.

I only game on PC because consoles are locked out in terms of features and customization, for example you can't edit cvar files on consoles, install mods, run scripts, play in player ran online game servers etc. Consoles are basically the Macs of the gaming world in that they're made for people who suck with technology and need to be babied through everything. If you look past the commercial stuff and actually look for games on PC you'd see that it actually has a much broader amount of genres.

@2gigabit Sorry man, but there is too much PC doesn't offer me. For one, I'm a huge an of Cave's line of bullet-hell shooters, and the newer ones (from 2001 and onward) still can't be emulated. In addition, a lot of exclusive games-- ranging from mainstream games to niche titles-- aren't available on PC and can't be emulated yet. Where's the PC port of Phantom Dust? DeathSmiles? Bayonetta? Raiden IV? Ketsui? Muramasa: The Demon Blade? Very few of the PC indie alternatives interest me.

@AnonymousXXXXXX I feel the same way about the boss characters and music. Personally, I thought Million Gunman along with most of the other assassins were pretty dull. (No substitute for Dr. Peace.) Also, was disappointed there was only one giant robot fight in the game.

@MrLegionnare The giant robot fight was amusing but I felt it was shallow to the point of being a parody of fighting games at best. (sort of like how the shitty overworld from NMH1 was supposed to be a parody of sandbox games) I like most of Suda's games (except for Contact and Flower, Sun, and Rain) but it seems he confuses parodying bad game design with outright creating bad game designs.
I liked the story's pacing in NMH2 but GODDAMN, dat ending, man... And JB Jr. was a terrible final boss.

1. You're a bit too backlit here. Next time adjust the lighting so we can more clearly read those box covers.
2. Audio has a lot of background noise. Is your webcam mic's sensitivity, or is it just picking up noise from your computer? Either way, maybe a bit of post-production noise-canceling can fix it.

play left 4 dead 2,tf2 these are great games. Rpg mostly just fails because they start of with a great mind thinking oh i have the time to do this and along the way they see there is much more to do in the game and they don't have the time nor the people or persistance for it and they wound up with a half assed game.

I'll just play the games I want on the consoles I want. Why hate on another? Makes no sense at all.

@moonshad0w About emulators, though... They'll have quite a while to wait before they can run PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube games well, and they'll be waiting years until Wii, 360, and PS3 emulators are even half-decent.
But if they're okay with missing out on this generation's gems for a good decade or so, then it's their loss.

Also, while a lot of PC gamers do spend a lot on upgrading, they usually do it out of pure choice. You can run most games just fine on older sub $200 video cards, given you may need to turn down settings on some games. I was a console gamer for years until a friend convinced me to try out the PC, easily the best gaming platform I've ever used. I'll admit that I do wish some games had a PC release, but games like Gmod or any other Source games(for mods) make up for that several times over.

@UnforgivingCookie I will admit that PC gamers have the advantage of playing FPS with proper controls, and mods. I tend to judge a system by its games and not its functionality, though, and while mods are nice, they don't make up for a lack of varied software in my eyes. The fact that most non-FPS/RTS/MMO games for PC are homebrew is just saddening. Sure, there's some great indie games out there, but where's my GGXX Accent Core, my Mercenaries, my Raiden IV, my No More Heroes 2?

I understand completely, I'm a big FPS player myself so PC is best for me. The only problem I have with consoles is the controller, not just with FPS, but almost any game I have a hard time playing with them. If there was a way to use a keyboard+mouse on an Xbox 360 that would be great.

Oh, c'mon. You'd honestly rather play an action game (i.e. Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, The Red Star, ZOE2, etc) with a keyboard...? Or other games DESIGNED for analog sticks, like Katamari Damacy, Gitaroo Man, etc?
And then there's games designed for an arcade joystick. (shmups, fighters, etc) These generally transfer better to a D-pad than a keyboard, especially fighters. (SHORYUKEN is a cunt to do on any keyboard, personally...)
Plus, the Saturn controller is like a blessing unto mankind.

Now, if you grew up with mouse+keyboard, then I could see you being able to handle games designed for the D-pad. But I recall a debate with some PC elitist a while back who claimed he could play ANY game with a mouse+keyboard. Including games designed for 360-degree analog movement (such as Devil May Cry), not just 8-direction digital.
