okay, mine doesn't let me hear the song all it does is make a screatching noise. Whats that mean?

@kristenbrooke911 I'm not sure, maybe you adjusted it too much. Try adjusting the amount of pitch change. The reason you have to do this is because all audio is different. Some voices are higher then others.

@kristenbrooke911 it means you opened a .wav file.

audacity can only work with mp3 files or wav files signed in 16-bit or below
