Beecher is highly dangerous because he is so very strategic, careful and calculating. In a nutshell, he is the thinking man's tough guy. What impresses me most about the character is that he is willing to stay calm, submit when he has to, make other inmates lower their guard, then strike without warning when his victims are lulled into a sense of superiority. Tactically, he is brilliant. I think that's the ONLY way a medium size guy could survive prison.

Keller was always the badest motherfucker in oz. When i say to my friend beecher and keller are my favorit story line in oz people always say, fuck no they are gay. Everyone is sucking adebisis dick. But keller was a pure badass, adebisi was just confused.

Just watched the end of the series and I was afraid that Keller had to die to free Beecher. Why did I have to be right?. At least K. was indeed betraying Schillinger bufff. He was selfish and loved Beecher too much and knew that he wouldn't be able to let him go unless he dies. His relationship was poison for both of them...They hurt each other so much (Keller more than Beecher) that there was no more place for forgiveness. So sad but so perfect in a strange way. And both actors, just amazing.

Although this relationship is sexy and crazy, we can't ignore the fact that it is also REALLY dangerous. I don't think Keller loved him. I think he was obsessed. But this wasn't love.

@mebbo1989 i think the series made a point of saying that the two of them really loved each other, it just wasn't a very pretty love. this was like every other relationship on the show, it showed that sometimes love is ugly and very destructive.

@04024jordon Well this was the last episode, so not much. Beecher gets blamed for Keller's death. Then the Aryans get a jar full of Anthrax in the mail room that kills them instantly. OZ has to be evacuated and quarantined. The last scene is of Beecher smiling because he knows it was Keller who sent the Aryans the anthrax.

Keller wanted to get rid of anyone who was an enemy to Beecher so they could be together without anyone in their way, so that meant killing Shillinger and trying to kill the Aryans with the anthrax.

I know everyone says that Beecher throws him off, but to me it seems like Keller threw *himself* off after Beecher told him he didn't want to be with him anymore, making sure that Beecher would never leave one way or another. That's what it always looked like to me anyways.

Yeah, he through himself over the railing. He said it more than once, that he couldn't live without Beecher, and that's why he kills himself. Plus, like you mentioned, he's also trying to mess up Beecher's life.

He knew he had lost Toby for good & cuz he loved Toby SOOO MUCH, hed rather die than live without him. The question is: Did Keller yell "Beecher Don't!" cuz he wanted to hurt Toby one last time cuz Toby hurt him for the final time, or did he do it cuz he KNEW Toby would get the death penalty & they would be together in heaven (Chris was Catholic).
