@TheLOLRandomStuff It is a ESP Michael Amott Signature model. It was discontinued when Mike signed on with Dean, but for this tone, anything that is all mahogany with EMGs will imitate the sound. If you want the ideal behemoth axe, then look up the HEX-7, it is Nergals signature, although you may already know that...
because it's not Be All, End All by Anthrax. The guitar has a bit that sounds similar, but Conquer All is more diverse, and requires more skill to play.
Yes, I agree it's not identical, but the melody of the riff is the same. Of course Nergals is more difficult to play, because he's an amazing fucking guitarist and his shit is rarely simple. I was pretty much just making the point that, as far as the melody of the riff, it's the same as "Be All, End All."
@varulv234 its not hard, but, it does take a while to adjust to it, like, you do need good stamina for this type of genre. especially when the chorus kicks in, those chord changes are a pain.
@Frodamn I guess you're right, but i don't think that the chord changes are that hard, because i played it at a faster tempo and then when i played along with the track i was like ''This isn't really hard'' Lol. Great riff, anyways.
@varulv234 i meant thats like the only hard part if you arent use to such changes, i remember when i was just a year on guitar, playing the chord changes on slayers Blood line just before the solo, that really took it out of me. obviously if you are use to that shit its easy.
@Frodamn Oh, yeah, of course, it's one of the things that was hardest for me too. Genres like Slam/Brutal Death Metal tend to use fast chord changes a lot, i just love the sound of it, lol.
Anthrax, Be All, End All; "State of Euphoria" - 1988
Behemoth, Conquer All; "Demigod" - 2004
Does Anthrax own a time machine?
They're homosexual AND gay? Shit, that sucks. Oh wait, no they're not. Haha, you almost got me man!
What about "what doesn't die" and "as above so below" ? They both have chugging riffs...is that your point? Seriously? Do you...listen to music? That's common little buddy.
@lovepuremetal5 Those are octaves. in one of the dvds/interviews nergal goes on about how most of the power of behemoth comes from octaves, so generally one of them will be playing octaves and the other will play the chords them selves
i have nothign againts him or behemont but his tone sounds like shit man...
MetalyourMom 7 months ago
@MetalyourMom It's not "his" tone. The tone is whatever the guys in the studio made it.
The tones for thse are rarely good, same with guitarworld stuff. Only "metalkult" vid that sounded good was the Exodus video.

Cause anthrax stole this from behemoth? Same goes for "what doesn't die" and "as above so below"
Oh and Anthrax is both gay AND homosexual. Which is a very bad combination.
