The moody Blues have run full circle haven't they...when I was so very young and foolish I would get high to their music...and of course, didn't really appreciate their incredible lyrics and music. Now...sane and wiser, I appreciate their amazing talent and the music that they have produced so many years ago. May their music play on.
You're so right, Picasso. I first saw them in 1969 in Palo Alto, and they blew me away right then--been hooked ever since. Only now am I beginning to fully understand and appreciate their brilliance...such true professionals, too, I've seen them in the 80's, 90's, and 2000's, and still their live peformances are truly outstanding talent...with many of their songs GETTING BETTER OVER TIME as they tweak them (such as "Stepping in a Slide Zone," the 2006 Greek Live Performance is awesome!)
This song (enjoyed by myself and my wife one late Saturday evening) actually played a big role in saving our marriage, and...more importantly, our friendship,...and most critically I guess.......our family. Thank you Dr. Hayward
wow, what a story...I think Dr. Hayward has saved many a soul!!!! he's the soul doctor, the Buddha, the spritual leader, an advanced soul among us ignoramusses.
Always liked this video. The lighting on Justin could have been better at the end when he spells "lies". Makes him look old. The band has always said that they jokingly refer to this song as "No, more lies!" Just watch Justin's eyebrows go up when he sings that line....
Oops. Yes, I meant made in the 80s. Don't know why I hit 50s by mistake. That's making the point that she isn't too young for him in the video. Of Course.
once again a 60's group who did music that made you think ,giving into the commercial world. Like the song but it is dictated by the record companies.
Its funny how they out smarted the record company when they did days of future past the record company wanted new world symphony they said sure , then did their own songs then got their own label so they could have artistic control.
I was lucky enough to see them in 93 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida performing with the Florida Philharmonic.

What are you talking about? The Moodies haven't given in to anybody! Their music wasn't dictated by the record companies.
