  • Great song. Great playing and singing. I love at the end when Paul points up and says "You're the man!" @ 4:57

  • Please, does anybody know which kind of guitar Paul uses in this vidéo?

  • I love this,But Paul...don't try to land your jet on the GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE.

  • Yay! Im giving my hope and dreams to you!

  • @BRGradytate225

Lincon Brewster is the one who wrote the song! Not pual ...

  • @350countryboy Lincoln wrote the song WITH paul

  • Assisting worship leaders/back up singers (?) should show a positive worship attitude. The guys facial expression throughout the song was like: 'I really don't know what to do but to harmonize.' The girl was okay though. No one can lead worship if they themselves don't worship. You can see that in the expressions of Paul, although both his hands are engaged on the guitar, there is a sense of worship there.

  • Great song. I went to the Paul Baloche conference/concert at Hosanna church in Lakeville last Friday. I love the intro riff, better then the Lincoln Brewster version.

    The concert was amazing.

  • @engine801 not!

  • Paul is the worship leader at my church, so I get the chance of hearing him play every Sunday and I went to school with his son (singing back up vocals in the back) and him and his family are such nice, caring and genuine people. His music is amazing and so uplifting!

  • @amberXsevenfold hey what church is that? please let me know. thanks Tim

  • Paul continues to make uplifting worship songs, helping us cope with the realities of life.

  • An uplifting and powerful version of a special song. Worrying is the least productive and, in fact, most harmful of all emotions. Sinful? Worrying shows a lack of faith, that your God isn't big enough to handle your problems. So why not start today, in faith and hope and trust. Today is the day.

  • I felt very bad about my life situation. As I tried to fight back with my bad feelings by praising the Lord,..nothing happened..I didnt feel the way I was supposed to feel when praising him. I didnt give up. Instead I praised him even more. Just then, Paul's song "in that day" was playing and the holy spirit worked in me. All the bad feelings were all gone!! and as i was trying to search for the vdo for the song, i found this song instead which is awesome! Thank u Jesus! Thank u Paul & Lincoln!

  • @MissGraceGlory Thank you for your sharing. It was encouraging to know that we truly cannot fight our bad feelings without praising God for what he has made for us. Also that we can't praise God when we are bitter and anger inside. But true too that when we praise God, our bad feelings disintegrate. Today you awaken my spirit.

  • whoa the quality is AWESOMEE~!! :) love this song too :)

  • wow awesome riff @ 2:30

    Thanks for posting. God bless

  • We must live today not tomorrow's day May God Bless Everyone!!!!!!!!!

  • Amen :-)

  • how encouraging!!! i love you Jesus!!!!

  • Psalm 118 right?

  • @AiXingShuYang Yes Psalm 118:24 "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."

  • A great lead/intro riff, very catchy makes this version better than the Brewster version, for me at least. Then again Brewsters guitar solo is awesome.........Paul & Lincoln should do a 3rd version of this song with combined guitar parts.....

  • @pacothetaco556 AWESOME COMMENT:D

  • @pacothetaco556 Paul's guitar player, Ben Gowell, is super creative, but the best thing about his playing is how it sits in the pocket of the song and doesn't overpower everything.

  • @pacothetaco556 YES!!!!!!!!!! (On the combo part)

  • I praise the Lord, Paul, for this new great song He inspired you and Lincoln to write. Blessings on you over and over again for what your ministry brings to the whole Church. We lift Him up together with one voice and one heart!!!

  • Paul is definitely my all time favorite writer/musician, his songs are timeless - these are the songs that bring people closer to the Lord Jesus and make us cry in our car.

I was here when this video was done. I am in the video (I know where I was standing).

Why does his new CD take so long to come out! By the way, you think this song is great - wait till ya hear "Glorious"! At this worship conference - Paul gave out the sheet music to "Glorious". Also, that's Paul's son singing in the back.

  • Paul, Its a great song. Thanks.

  • I go to Paul's church and this is the way he does it on Sundays. More of an acoustic version and a lower key for the ladies in the congregation. It's not a radio single, it's a Sunday morning version. Praise the Lord either way!

  • Great song!!! I needed this watch this video this morning. Lets make the best of today because God is always with us and He is gracious enough to give us TODAY!!!!!!!!

  • who cares about who sang it?? and how good it sounds?? The conditions are perfect!! (As Flight of the Concord would say. lol) His word IS what makes this song great~ wooT! "Today is the day that the Lord has made, we SHALL rejoice and be glad in it!!" God!!! Thank you! (and thanks to the poster ^^)

  • He killed the verse but the chorus sounds good.

  • Great song. Lincoln had a more upbeat, energetic version, but Paul's is more congregational friendly. Praise GOD for having both to worship! =)

  • It's not a cover - Paul and Lincoln actually wrote this song together.

  • i know paul helped lincoln. but i believe that when we say " to cover a song" it means when someone performs a song differently. i was looking up on the web and thats what i got out of the meaning. thanks for your comment

  • One of my favorite Worship Pastors Covering my other favorite Worship Pastor's Music.

    AWESOME!

  • wow this song was covered too quickly. but nice overall. sounds different and thats a good thing ;)

  • great song great music and i dont think it matters who sang it..

  • great song. lincoln brewster does it better though. but still a good song
