I can't understand all the people who are hating. I live in Jersey and it is absolutely stunning. I've been to various places in the world but Jersey is unique.
I can't understand Polish (I think) but yes that is definitely our beautiful island of Jersey. Forget all the idiots who have posted the nasty comments. They are probably not actually from Jersey LOL, otherwise they would love you video. I speak french, being from Jersey, and a small amount of Jersey french which is part of Jersey's heritage. However, not everybody does Speal it, but living so close to france it may be a good idea to learn LOL.
im from Australia, and i worked at Chicago Rock and The Bar when it first opened. I was there for a year in 2003 and loved ever minute. I wish i could have stayed and lived there!!
i love jersey ive been going there for years and have hardly seen any yobbos or anything. besides how can people say that when england is ten times worse?
do they speak french in Jersey? my ex girlfriends mother lived in Jersey but i always thought it was abroad, i know shameful as i am british, but we never got taught anything about the channel islands growing up... they channel islands are breath taking
They have their own local language called Jeriaise or Jersey french but everyone speaks english as their first language. Us in Guernsey have our own local language called Guernsey french but like Jersey we speak english as the main language. Both islands it is only a small amount of people that speak the local french languages and these languages are different to the french spoken in France.
@JOJOBANANAZ1 yeah GUERNSEY you know, if you drive up to La Rue de Sorel and look out to sea we're the bigger Island on your left . . . . . dump crapaud!
@time4anewme My family is originally from there, my Great-Great-Grandfather came here from St. Helier long ago. I have personally never been, but our last name is apparently very common on the Island.
One thing I've always wondered is the way people sound. Is it primarily English accents, remnants of French accents or what?
@Autofac for some strange reason the older generation have accents that sound very similar to the South-African, but I think it's dying out as most of the island now speak with a southern-England accent
most likely in the past and even now jersey is being ruled by a very tight fellowship of crooks, corrupt politicans, deaf policemen and child abusers.well done jersey you fucked it up good and proper.a chance lost.
Jersey is still a very strict country, infact it's the only place ive been to without mob heads, crack heads, yobbo's etc because they keep the riff raff out. And good on them too!
so you would rather have a corrupt political and judical system ? so what if they keep idiots out thats not the point!the place is still rotten to the core but thats ok with you as long as people behave themselves.you are not making sense here.
I live on jersey in trinity
