Sasuke's theme, and design, are awesome. I'm one of those people though because I just hate HIM. Don't get me wrong, I think that Kishimoto made a good decision to make him become a villain, it made him a lot more interesting, however, after he lost sight of his goal when he went to Oto, using the power Orochimaru gave him to protect Konoha, it all went a little downhill personality-wise and then he turned into an... Well, he turned from bad-ass to bitch after Tobi found him...

War is a valid excuse for losing a family, but what about your home? In his home he lost everything not in some premeditated war but a stationary slaughter.

His "revenge spree" mentality overrode his brother's wishes and he chose to destroy Konoha.He chose to go further into the darkness of hatred.

He cared, a bit too much for his own taste and he knew after already losing his family what ties of that calibur can mean for you.
