You can just take the pedals off a regular bike if your child is tall enough. Scoot bikes are generally much shorter though....so for really small kids a regular bike won't work. I just bought one brand new for my son'e third birthday (paid $30) and he loves it. He was too scared of the pedal bikes with training wheels as he couldn't touch the ground while on the seat...but this is perfect & he's having a blast!

Your video is good and it's really nice to see how happy your little guy is but I can't believe he is not wearing shoes or a helmet - it doesn't take much to cause serious brain trauma to such a young child, hope he never get hurt.
