  • hey, girls.... i m happy for u 2 !! very cute and sweet pair, love u girls !

  • i'm a christian but if we can't even have an open debate to discuss all the issues involved with homosexuality, which includes trying to accept ALL as equals, i'm very worried.

  • please give more respect to others choice. they didn't bother you, so please stop against them.

  • again...this is not a choice...this is who they are.

  • Well, I guess this is the first move for RTHK, if we get more exprosure, people know us more, and we dont stand in the dark, then eventually we will be accepted.

  • We all want Hong Kong to be a progressive society but sadly its people are not very politically or culturally informed. Making money and spending most of their time shopping is all good, but to be a truly successful nation, we need to be more aware of cultures, politics, the way our young generations are being educated, social consideration, empathy and a lot of other things that will strengthen our society, even our country.

  • I heard that people in HK had been complaining about this program being broadcasted on television because they feared that children would be likely to follow suit.

Also they think that by accepting equal rights for Gay people, it would encourage unsafe sex among young people and increase the chances of people catching AIDS.

    What a load of nonsense!

PEOPLE! Please Use Your Fucking Brains!

  • it is just 22 out 7 like million people who thinks that... and those people are just retty much sickle cell :S

  • For such a technologically advanced city like Hong Kong, many of its people are rather behind, and culturally and socially challenged which is really sad. They don't seem to have social skills to interact with people appropriately and many of them seem to be somewhat spoon-fed by the media, traditions or certain religions without even analyzing anything. It's really scary!

  • People really have to use their brains to THINK and ANALYSE because a lot of them have such negative attitude against certain minority groups of people and they don't even know why. Seriously, to those of you who have prejudice against anyone who is different from yourselves, ASK YOUSELVES WHY and ANSWER with your CONSCIENCE if you know what it is!

  • If we even do not have the right to express ourselves in the media, i am afraid that it will be very difficult to talk about the right to choose who we love, we have sex with and to marry to. And don't even talk about the right to elect our own government.

  • Most people worry about things that do not concern them. What is their problem with those who are gay? How does homosexuality even bother anybody? I really cannot get my head around it coz why would people be against anything that they have nothing to do with or they don't even know, or they don't even understand??

  • To those of you who are not gay. You shouldn't worry about others being gay because it has NOTHING to do with you!! Think about it! Perhaps you're scared that you might be one of them? Otherwise you should have nothing to worry about. Why can't people just get along and live in peace with each other? What do you gain by going around provoking hatred towards minority groups?

  • People really have to use their brains to THINK and ANALYSE because a lot of them have such negative attitude against certain minority groups of people and they don't even know why. Seriously, to those of you who have prejudice against anyone who is different from yourselves, ASK YOUSELVES WHY and ANSWER with your CONSCIENCE if you know what it is!

  • Firstly, I am not really sure, if it will be a more profonded 45 mins programme which provide more divised points of the view if it inter viewed 100 homosexuals rather than 3. And what is the problem if we accept (the marriage of) the homosexuals?

  • You are right! They should have interviewed more gay people to get a varied view of gay life in Hong Kong. They could've gone deeper into it and even interviewed their friends and families to tell the audience their points of view. And they also could've shown straight people (from different walks of life)'s view on homosexuality whether they're comfortable with it or not.

  • I. Deeply worried about the freedom of expression in Hong Kong (concerning the issues of "An Autumn's

    Tale" , "Protege" and this)

Thank you very much for sharing this video!! I would really want to watch this programme after knowing

the negative feedbacks from the public, the 22 complains from an individual and the serious level of

warning from the the Broadcasting Authority (BA), Hong Kong SAR.

  • "However, the programme presented only the merits of homosexual marriage and featured only the views of three homosexuals on the legislation of homosexual marriage, rendering the presentation unfair, partial and biased towards homosexuality and having the effect of promoting the acceptance of homosexual

    marriage."

  • from the press release of BA on 20th Jan 2007.

  • And the male interviewee mentions his brother got aggressive and violent towards him and his male friends because his religion condemns homosexuality as a sin therefore it gives him the rights to attack those whom he doesn't believe in. Do true religions ever encourage violence and aggression to victimize those who are different from the majorities?

    The world's pretty fucked up!

  • Let's ignore those 22 complains from that indivual (he/ she even thinks that AIDS is because of

homosexual intercourse/ sexual behavior). But I am really dissapointed by and worried about, even

before the Law 23 is confirmed and the year 2047, the harsh censorship which will strongly affect the

freedom of the Hong Kong media. The Broadcasting Authority (BA) has stated that ...

  • In any society, there will be descrimination towards all issues. We still have to fight for our rights, but don't expect a positive outcome.

  • Oh man. Thanks for sharing that. It seems I never saw that on TV... well as if I can watch it when my folks are home. Lol.

  • too bad i saw it with my mom... lol she actually what is the whole thing is about lol/
