I recently "upgraded" from an old celeron to a P4, and i was beginning to wonder if iatkos would run better on the celeron.

However, Kalaway installed it for me, and the P4 is ten times better.

Also, do you know if i can use an official osx update for Kalaway? Or does it have to be patched?

i wonder that os x share the same resource-hog problem like its twin brother- vista. though they promise that snow leopard will be much lighter and faster than tiger/leopard, just like windows 7 compare to vista.

however they are all fail! windows xp/mac os 9 ftw. aero based windows/mac sux!!

can you tell me what os x for pc you are using cuz I have a 2.8GHz Intel P4 HT with a Asus P$-P800 Delux and tried a couple of diffrent ones but the closest i got it to boot was on the iatkos 5i

Can you please tell me where you got the ISO to do that? Every time I try to install mac on my pentium 4, it always restarts! unless you used a special boot loader, which in that case I see my problem. Please respond i cannot figure out this problem.

I doubt it would work right. It's hard enough getting OS X on a P4. You should buy a Mac.

hummm. Apples intel OS X dev systems was a P4. OS X runs fine on a P4 CPU. its just getting proper driver support for the chipset, ethernet, video, sound and so on is the real issue.

i have a HP D530 SFF (P4 2.8ghz 533mhz FSB northwood) that has a i865G chipset with broadcom gigabit ethernet and it runs OS X just fine and everything works the same as on a Mac. you know how i know ? cause i own a Mac as well.

I think leopard is fastest than tiger, I tried it on mine, tiger is slow as a turtle, but when I installed leopard it's really fast like rocket.

ohmygawsh i have that same motherboard, Asus P4P800-MX except had this Kalyway Image DVD, one problem. on 2 minutes left of the install, the entire process like locked up so i went to sleep hoping it'd finish, like guess what, It failed >.> and I set my bios to the best of my knowledge.
