how did u manage to use a wire leader and not frighten the bass off? when i use a leader fish rarley come near my lure
ohhh nice. and the wire leader didnt make the bass finiky? thats odd. normally if i use a leader i dont get anything!
these are light pressure bass. very little fishing pressure.
very easy to catch.
im curious to know what pound test you were using? and did u have a leader on there?
we use wire leaders for the bass (just in case of some pike action.)
for the panfish, i use 4 pound flourocarbon.
sometimes 2 pound flourocarbon if the fish are finicky.
well put HLCprowmo

being a lifelong ice fisherman since Ive been 3 and now am 34. I can always tell an amateur fisherman, it is easy. Amateurs dont use arctic tip ups, or some may call them beaver damns. Tell tale sign is a plastic polar tip up.
Nice mess of gills though
