I'd seek out James Turk or Bob Chapman regarding the gold market. They both think gold stocks are going to explode. I don't know how long this guy has been a bullion dealer or "expert". Turk and Chapman have nearly a century of combined experience in this market. This guy is insightful in somethings, but lacking in others (my humble opinion). Good luck.

@FXNorm READ MY COMMENT AGAIN! I said hide assets INSIDE of rocks. Then detectors of various types (not metal detectors) would show images of irregular shaped boulders.  Light weight hollow decorative boulders would work nicely instead of having to carry 200 pound boulders plus blast them apart to make room for coins. Would you dig up what appears to be boulders 20 feet down in a farm field with hundreds of them showing on a detector? Unless I knew they contained coins - not me!

@w0tm people like archeaeologists use image detectors. Use principle of sound and reflectivity. Like radar except sound waves. Fish finders used in lakes to image fish down to bottom of lake depending on strength of detector and depth of lake.

Buying old numismatic coins at big premiums does NOT protect you from FDR style buy out @ few pennies on dollar. Ignore Glenn Beck! @deke76 You're safest burying DEEP in VERY rural forests using a GPS to mark locations but IF you use anyone to store your metals Miles Franklin is the safest. If gestapo confiscates, Andy will be there with AR-15s etc. treating your metals like he owns it. Still, I personally use the shovel and GPS as I do believe confiscation is coming for many assets inc. gold/silver. Bury below metal det. range - 20+ feet down! SPREAD out among many locations. @pattybbb1 I was thinking of renting a back hoe. But first do reading research with Google. Perhaps there are materials that mask or confuse metal detectors. Not in my field of expertise. If any readers have info - please contribute! Silver not magnetic so you're OK with large magnetics. Some large electrical magnets used by archeologists can "see" 100 feet plus down. But new technology that spots objects underground have no guards. Like CT scans. Used to look for pipes etc. by utilities.
