  • "i will make it jolly PUNK ASS BITCH DON'T MAKE ME BRING OUT MY INNER COMPTON OUT ON YOU!" LOL damn john what happend to all the peace and love hahaha

  • how could John Lennon be so angry being so high?

  • I wish we could all be more Jolly Dammnit

  • well said john fuckin idiot reporters who do what they are told by a corrupt government spread the lies and they do aswell with a smile knowing that the government are killing people anything for a dollar to keep their cushy media job

  • In this video there are:

    1. 2 anoying bitches

    2. One of the greatest songwriters.

  • Could you please BLUR this video a little more? I think

I can make out Yoko's squinty eyes. Just a little bit.

    Thanks!

  • You go, John, make that interviewing bitch feel salty! xD

  • I have neverdone any illegal drugs but have always wondered . I adore this man and have gained inspiration from him. He was asked about drugs and for the rest of my life I will remember his honest reply. He admitted it but he wanted to tell everybody his happiest moments in his life was when he was drug free. Thanks to him I don't feel I am missing anything. Thanks John.

  • He doesnt seem angry! Lennon wants his word and music to spread and it did!

  • Aw man I wanted it to be the bit where he says "I'm sorry if you like your moptops love and your hard days night but I've grown up since then *looks at camera* yes folks" I think that bit comes after this.

  • John and Yoko were so desperate for attention, "we invented peace," blah, blah, fucking narcissistic rock star. Even Bono would say, "Damn, man, don't be so egotistical."

  • @steveconn They were desperate for attention to promote peace.

  • @ThePrinceDhani As if having bed-ins was going to shift U.S. policy in Vietnam. It was George Mcgovern and Watergate that did it, not these narcissistic assholes.

  • @steveconn who cares what bono would say he's a dick

  • @callan102 Spot on- my sentiments on that tool exactly. Shameless pharisee, he.

  • @steveconn What's a Bono, fer f*ck's sake?

  • @crapple009 the singer of U2. Welcome to the world.

  • @steveconn hehehe!

  • SCOUSEER!!!!!!!!!

  • He got a LITTLE angry but he didn't lose his temper.

  • He had anger in his voice but he kept his head :). That stupid bitch had not head.

  • The thing John never seemed to get is that there are those who don't want peace, can't be talked to, can't be reasoned with.

  • @hitcharide1 -You can't reach people through conventional means.

What John argued was that since people were going to WATCH HIM

and FILM HIM anyway (at the time, he was the most photographed

man in the world) why not use it to spread awareness about peace

or anything else? Roughly 80% of America consists of Joe-Six-Pack

and his ridiculous wife. Shopping, making babies, watching sports is

all he cares about. Joe also happened to LOVE the Beatles.

    Joe-Six-Pack listened to John.

  • @hitcharide1 What makes you think he didn't get or didn't clearly know that. He is not stupid.

  • John is the best! :-)

  • WELL SAID JOHN A TRUE SCOUSER LIKE ME

  • He was so honest and true and he will do everything to speak what's in his mind. Long live John ♥

  • John Lennon couldn't be more serious than having a heart attack because we all can still to this day please Give Peace A Chance whats wrong with having peace that we are wanting so badly that our government should provide if not the Hell with em

  • @RobertFCrusader

John Lennon? You can't be serious.

  • Fucking Idiot

  • the person who interviewed John was a well known female reporter forgot her name anyways she committed suicide years later after discovering she had an incurable disease!

  • Drugs are just an idea.

  • is it just me or were interviewers much more blunt in those days. john is compleatly right,, those people used give peace a chance to try and stop the Vietnam war which had lead to millions of people dying. what has john done wrong? write a song about something we should all be doing? giving peace a chance. i literally dont understand people who make a living of criticising some of the things that are good in this world, lennon was a force for good like no other star in this world.

  • @kahuna3901 I would characterize the female interviewer with something that rhymes with blunt - and much more accurate.

John was on the correct side of this issue (Moratorium to end war in Vietnam 10/15/69). If anyone disagrees with that today, then they are either stupid or a thoughtless hard-line right-wing Republican.

  • @kahuna3901 and he was a great one at it! no lies there even if lsd played a part in it! :)

  • Lennon was into drugs at this point , and it showed.

  • @VIDEOTIMEMACHINE actually, john was into some kind of drug right from the very start. be it amphetamine pills washed done with brandy alexanders, in the first few years of recording, to acid, pot, heroin, later on.. so, what exactly is your point..

  • continued... what is your point?

just because he got a little heated, rightly so, at the inane line of questioning, and showed some emotion, and fortitude of character, in his reply... you say the drugs were showing...

i think john would have got irate atthe stupid question regardless, yet, he kept it in check, and made sense, and, put her in her place...

  • @psynapsurfa He was a junkie

  • @VIDEOTIMEMACHINE Yea i think he went thru a period of that, looks angry and bad here i think.i loved the Beatles like most, but i didnt like his solo stuff too much.i wouldnt wanna hang out with him,and i dont think he'd enjoy me much either ha ha.

  • @dempsey981 I've talked to people who knew him and they said the drugs changed him and made him a bad person. He lost his talent because of all of the drugs.

  • @VIDEOTIMEMACHINE

Lost his talent? You've lost your mind.

  • @jx14aby Not really. His 1970's music was crap for the most part. And Double Fantasy was overrated.

  • @VIDEOTIMEMACHINE "I've talked to people who knew him and they said..." Wtf cares about what those people said. Wtf are those people anyway- jealous wannabes?

You'd be better off listening to a parking meter.

  • @crapple009 Because the legend is not always the facts. The Public Image is far from what he was

  • @VIDEOTIMEMACHINE But the argument about the drugs just doesn't hold water. Lennon was taking drugs of one sort or another during most of the 60's. And just listen to all those compositions he wrote then. Do you really think the drugs made him "lose" his talent? When you've hit your peak, there's only one way to go- no matter who you are. Name me one long-term artist still at his/her peak. Exactly. All things must pass, as one famous artist once wrote. Ever hear of writer's block, btw?

  • @crapple009 Thank u! I believe when john was on pot it was good! then LSD and H. he wrote brilliant songs on those drugs! so therefore I think it's all good! but i don't think Lennon ever left his talent, I love the man to much! he is my icon!

  • @AlainBradette John Lennon is one of my favourite Human Beings ever!

  • @AlainBradette Mine too, Alain. He was real and had his faults like anyone else- definitely not a phoney who pretended otherwise.

  • @AlainBradette Exactly. However, what works for one artist may not necessarily work for another. In John's case, it just so happened that narcotics had a very positive effect on his creativity. As far as his physical/mental health is concerned, perhaps not- I cannot and will not make any judgments there. It's the music that really matters. I've known a few people who do not like the Beatles but like their solo careers, so go figure. I personally prefer the Beatles to the solo years, myself

  • @VIDEOTIMEMACHINE "The public image of John Lennon is far from what he was"? Would you mind enlightening us as to what exactly the public image of John Lennon is? A goody-goody two-shoes? Definitely not. I think most people (fans as well as non-fans) would agree that John Lennon/Beatles and drugs were synonomous. No surprises there. It's all been documented- the ups and downs. Give the public a little more credit.

  • @VIDEOTIMEMACHINE Charlie Sheen is into drugs at this point. See how pointless your comment was.

  • Need you more than ever Mr. Lennon.

  • John's just speaking his mind, there's nothing wrong about that.

  • Lennon Says: "My british lyrics will ass rape the masses of american non conformists(non beatles fans) till we make it jolly" he would have slaughtered our first borns if he'd lived till1984. See the date???

  • @KorineGummo Wtf?

  • I will make it jolly hahaha
