You know what I like about this...is that they actually explained what the world of neverland is. Science does compliment "magic", it's wonderful. I don't want to give anything away, but I hope they explain more on the orb and how it got into Human hands.

Without giving too much away, I really, REALLY liked this! Yes there are some major similarities with "Oliver Twist" and "Avatar" but really, this is Syfy people, you have to expect some of those science fiction elements. Personally, with all their other mini-series i think this was the best one yet!

For us former fans of an SF channel, I say if you don't speak up you get what you deserve. First off "poor literacy is not cool" People who don't like SF are not going to watch a channel cause you change the name. Syfy is just dumb. Things done wrong. Wrestling WTF? Abandoning SeeingEar Theater Cancelling shows that deserve a chance (you know what I mean) Don't ever do to another book what you did to Earthsea. Exceptions to the rule. MST3K BSG Don't become another MTV.

SyFy (damn I hate that stupid name and term) has made some real snoozefests in the last 10 years also. When you look at the quality of stuff that HBO, Showtime, and other channels have turned out. You really have to wonder if the people behind SyFy really respect the genre at all, or are only in it for a quick buck off the fans who will praise anything with the SF or Fantasy label stuck on it. Heck Roger Corman seemed to care more about his movies, and he was the king of cheap and fast.

Eh this kind've ruins the story for me. I grew up with the actual J.M. Barrie story, and I mean even Hook was pretty good. Dustin Hoffman in my opinion will always be the best Captain Hook ever. Hands down.

I got to see a preview of the start of this, and it's not half bad (though without seeing the whole thing I don't swear by those words). It's got sex appeal, inside jokes, and other prequel and selling tactics, and there was one thing that was just annoying, but otherwise it was enjoyable. I don't know if they answered every question they created, but the rest of the script (for now) and the portrayals made up for that briefly. If you're a fan of The Pan, this is a must see.
