Indeed it is pretty clear in any mind of the European leadership which continent is in need of the other.
On one hand, you have a dirt poor continent whose situation can but improve.
On the other hand, a continent which is on the decline, with no natural resources left, political influence in the gutter, ridden with elitism and denial on their own principles. With nothing left to trade because all immaterial goods are made in the US. It has an uncompetitive workforce.
"no natural resources left" - In the long run, we have all the natural resources we need, and those we don't have, we take by force.
"political influence in the gutter" - Tell me the last time Africa won a diplomatic battle, or any kind of battle for that matter.
"ridden with elitism" - Thank you.
"denial on their own principles" - A bastion of freedom, enlightenment, human rights and human progress, which we share with a few million lucky Africans...
"With nothing left to trade" - Biggest exporter in the world.
"an uncompetitive workforce" - The most qualified workforce in the world. But one that doesn't for work for a bowl of rice/day, so I guess you have a point there.
Where did you get that I compared Africa influence to European influence? Europeans are losing the continent to another power.
In the long run, yep. Sure, once natural resources from other continents are depleted, I have no doubt that there will be no other choice that feeling that the resources left are exactly what it is needed.
A bastion of freedom, enlightment, human rights and human progress: nothing other than what prosperity usually brings....
... So nothing to do with freedom, human rights (democracies are the biggest offenders of those ones by the way, other regime are dragging behind) and human progress.
Africans living in Europe are so lucky that they are either shamed for their beliefs if they are muslims, barred from work opportunities in all case and in the end, use to create a sense of communauty between different european peoples. So they are puppets which sometimes have enough of it and riot. Another delusional guy.
It is a free zone and political uncorrect speech can be held. The EU has nothing to do with the Human rights save for furthering its economical best interests.
Nothing to do with freedom: using a migrant population and thriving on racism to blend several peoples in is not freedom.

Every european diplomat grows worried at the increase of Chinese expansion through Africa.
Really, if Africa is not needed by Europe, Europeans should really start to pack, sell the natural resources they privatize to China or other and feel relieved by letting down dead wood.
Its unfortunate the EU allowed themselves to be blackmailed by african leaders instead of backing Britain which was against mugabe coming to this summit.
While i support free and fairer trade with Africa, there should be no illusion which continent needs the other more. Africa must start taking some responsibility and deal with bad leadership instead of defending it and attacking european for ancient history.
African take heed! The time is coming soon.
