the more light you have the clearer it is. its so the camera has more to read from and it makes it easier for the chip to processes. the less light the more the camera has to figure out how the picture should look like. less light = visual noise

If this is real... then ThePolishedKnob Grab your courage and your camera. Next time you see him film it much closer. Go greet the alien. Be nice though, don't freak out or even talk. I've read that the light it emits is a self defense mechanism which creates a high energy beam used in case of a threatening situation... haha thats why I said be quiet and humble when you approach him. not that im a skeptic, i can totally believe this kind of thing, but i found a way this can be faked.
They bought a cheap alien costume at a halloween store, paid a kid 10 bucks to put it on and use a flashlight in the middle of the night in the bushes, and to also throw small rocks at the house to make the crashing sounds.
this is still plausibly real.
