I gained a ton of respect for Owl City after hearing this song. The fact that an artist that was already very popular would do a song like this, and not be ashamed of what they believe in is really inspiring. I grew up in an incredibly stressful environment and could not think about anything else because I was so worried all the time. My emotions were dictated by dad's moods. The unpredictability alcoholism brings is so damaging to a child. I urge you to strive to look beyond your home environment and pursue your passions. I now have 2 beautiful children and just got into law school.

I admire him for that--many people are afraid to express their faith in God, and thus distances themselves from the Almighty, turning their faith into a mere set of rules.
