  • I remember that at the time these guys were way ahead of everyone else. Forging into new territory musically. They were masters of song writing

  • I received both cds of this phenomenal concert as Christmas pressies.

I hadn't heard it since a repeat airing on Radio 1 in the early 1980s.

It brought tears to my eyes.

    Awesome.

  • I've seen THE ENID's live video for the very first time! THEY've been the legends to me for many years. When I bought and listened to their 3rd album,"Touch Me ",I was soooooo surprised,"OH MY!! What's this!"

  • Apocalyptic music with such depth and multivalence! It sounded great when I was there, and the best thing is the band are now going from strength to strength after many years of obscurity. Looking forward to Birmingham 2011 - 2010 there was legendary!

  • Great track!!

  • Wow! Just wow! Wow again! And again!

  • Secret Green played this at the Willowman festival June 2010

  • This footage is absolute GOLD! The world is a far brighter place with the music of The Enid.

  • Who remembers Colwyn Bay Dixieland 1979. What a great gig.!!!! Got backstage and played guitar with them!!

  • Just wonderful.

    Looking forward to April 16th.

Amazing to see a band I first heard in 1978 and who STILL make me smile.

  • Best band ever.

  • One of the first bands I ever saw! 'In The Region of the Summer Stars' was one of the first albums I bought too!

What an influence it has had on my life

  • I'm gonna be at The Birmingham town hall gig on April 16th 2010, i first got into The Enid when i was 14, i'll be 46 less than 2 weeks befor the gig, it's the only birthday pressie i want. Robert is by far the greatest composer Britain has produced in modern times, his name should be up there with all the greats. I have had the pleasure of meeting RJG a few times, last time was at St Albans Horn Reborn, he is such a cool and wonderful person whom i have utmost respect for. Respects RJG & Enidi

  • Was making big plans to go to the Birmingham Town hall gig. Saw The Enid there around the time this video was shot, so about 30 years ago. Just discovered that my band is gigging the same night! I am slayed. My daughter will never speak to me again. She was really looking forward to this. DVD is available. Check the crdeits at the end of this clip.

  • Can't wait to see more of this. And the band are touring extensively this year!

  • Haven't thought about the Enid for years - searched on a whim and find a concert I was at - posted only yesterday - how weird is that? Makes me things of times and friends lost and who I used to be. Very moving.

  • Hi matey, the Enid are putting on a big show at The Birmingham town hall on April 16th, it looks like they're pulling out all the stops and they are also filming it for DVD release

  • Awesome - I never knew this existed - it drags me back into the late 70's when I saw you down in Plymouth at Woods

  • Thank you so much - great, nay truly great, memories. Roll on Birmingham and Islington.

  • Brilliant stuff...

When is the DVD going to be available??
