  • I like the band. The guys do a nice jam!

  • NYC mrathon rules

  • arronboss123 i have no reason to lie! i get nutin out of lieing-why lie?i ran it in 1999 no big deal never 2return, it had sum good to it-but for me i prefer not to return-crowd was good too like NY,but they didnt serve Gatorade.here in usa we used to gatorade, in london, something else was given that i am unfamiliar with,so rule1 is dont try anything new so i didnt try the sports drink and only water which made me crash at like mile 17 i suffered on power gels n water, ran 3:02 2nd marathon

  • Look u lied and i proved it, u have every reason to lie because your saying the London marathon was rubbish, and only way to justify that is to say u ran it, which u did'nt, please stop lying i mean, u dont keep your medals because of religon, LOLOLOLOLOLOL you say you coldnt remember what was in your welcome pack, but i had to point out NO such thing HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA lie lie lie, i know u lie stop it.

  • @hich101 OK the london marathon as every other puts runners into pens in order of their estimated times! and every pen has a distintive name in london, named after what?? everybody remembers this!! so????????? what was yours?...............please dont give me "oh it was 10 years ago i cant remember" my dad ran it in 90 and remembers his!

  • @bcoy1para ur right i was under some name..no idea of the name-i remember lukin for the heading i was supposed to be under-dont remember

  • @hich101 nope im not right!!!! LOL THE PENS DID'NT HAVE NAMES only estimated zones! , yet again i catch you out in a lie. Game over your dead and buried buddy.

  • @bcoy1para there were sections with names that i rememba i had to find my place-it was in 1999-dont remember exactly but surely i was there-doesnt matter if u dont believe me-God know i am honest and i am sure my certificate is around here sumwhere

  • @hich101 no way you can worm you way outa of it, as you have proved your a lier, end of, london is the best and its been proven year after year! its the race every runner over the globe aspires to do, its also the highest ever charity earning marathon of all time! i win

  • @hich101 OH lololololol you dont get a certificate when u run the London marathon!! lolololol only the medal once you have crossed the line iven to you by the volunteers and organisers, Yet again you dig yourself even deeper!! lier lier oants on fire lol, im starting to think you may have never ran NY NOW! give it up your making yourself look silly now.

  • @bcoy1para i have a certificate from London u moron.i never said i got the certificate at the finish line stupid..its mailed if i remember correctly

  • @hich101 you never get a certificate!!!!! at any point numpty its a complete lie!! nothing you say makes me belive you anymore, i've caught you out way to many times! your done! admit defeat!

  • @bcoy1para seem su like ny so much ur always on this video lol like i said NY is #1...its where the world comes to run

  • 1999-in london restaurants werent smoke free, alcohol everywhere...surely not for me...rain and fog...i would never return to the UK..nutin bad to say about it,just not for me...not my cup of tea...

  • I just missed the lottery registration. So I am going to run for Fred's Team; a Sloan Kettering-Memorial Hospital foundation supporting cancer research. I need to raise $ 3,000 dollars within 2 weeks of the Marathon, starting today. I hope I will be able to do it! I am running in memory of 2 US Marines, and my good friend who passed away from Leukemia.

  • I L NY

  • Wasn't WWE Shane McMahon And His Wife here?

  • test

  • nyc is my home.its the greatest marathon on Earth,no1 rocks like newyork, and am proud to have run 3 of them here..go NYRR,ur org. always puts on the Greatest show on Earth every first sunday in Nov.

  • London is the greatest marathon on earth, thats fact. New york is voted 3rd best. Berlin in 2nd.

  • @bcoy1para thats ur view...no place like New York City..london has a faster course but the weather is usually fog and rainy and the cobblestones suck...New York is a better marathon..i cant say much about berlin since i havent run it but berlin has a super fast course...

  • Thats not my view but runners world and the runners olympic commite! london was voted the best with berlin 2nd NY 3rd,

  • @hich101 i've ran all 3 and say london is (excuse the pun) miles better for atmosphere and presige not to mention its the race the pros aspire to! some races maybe rain but london still has millions lining the streets! i ran yesterday and it was sunny!

  • @bcoy1para we have million spectators too-NYC marathon rules, NY is where every1 wants 2b...NYC, where the WORLD comes to run...whats ur marathon pr?

  • Runner world and olympic commite had a vote on the leading marathons from views pro runners and fans alike, london made records this year with money raised more than any other around the world, not to mention spectators! since 2002-2010 london has led the way, my marathon pb is 2.58hrs , but sunday was 3.33hrs

  • @bcoy1para nice pr kid...work on ur speed.....i ran 2:44 in NYC 2000...my last and best marathon...NYC RULES...no ifs ands or buts, sorry...

  • @hich101 no if n buts? maybe in your opinion, but runners world and olympic commite voted london best NY was 3rd! i've ran both. Outside the worlds top marathons i ran the brighton marathon, which is the UK's marathon if you cant make the ballot on the london , i ran that in 2.39 speedy enough i feel! still outside our county teams cut off time.

  • @bcoy1para from 2.58 to u rpb now to 2:39 as ur pb...very good job

  • @hich101 pb within registered marathons, mine in the brighton which at the time was not a registered marathon i ran 2.39 still was 26.2 m

  • @bcoy1para so they give u no proof of it? only ur word? lol

  • rain n fog mmm 2day 25 degrees and sunny, not bad since its in april, all pubs bars etc are now smoke free, and london has amazing history, somthing you see on every turn of the course, unlike NY which has no history! only recent. I've ran both unlike you, so i guess my words are worth more than you. Theres a lot of bad things about NY also, dont forget.

  • @bcoy1para since it seems u dont like Ny,then dont run here.ny has much history...this is where the world comes to run

  • @hich101 NY was ok but not even a patch on London the worlds best marathon. For me what was better was the spectators so so many more not to mention the great route with the histroy n sights, but London this year raised more money for charity than any other marathon world wide, for me thats the real winner.

  • @bcoy1para bunch of drunken spectators in london--lol...

  • @hich101 drunk spectators? lol probably the same amount of crack addits on route on the NY i guess, best u run the london as you have no idea what the greatest marathon of all is about, until then i will take your comments seriously!

  • @bcoy1para i rant it once...that was enuff..never again

  • @hich101 mmmm i dont belive you have ever ran it, actualy im 100% u never have, people that say never again are weak minded!, and only usualy say that right after the race because thats how many people feel. If you ran the london then you can asnwer this easy question, on the back of your london medal theres a quote, what is it???? and for over seas runners you would of had a welcome pack, again whats in it?

  • @bcoy1para that was in 1999-i ran 3:02,i dont remember whats in the pack,as for the medal i have no idea where it is-surely i ran it in 1999-no reason to lie

  • @hich101 u have no idea where the medal is? lol sure sure, OH and the reason you dont remember what was in the welcome pack is because as from 2005 that has only been brought in, lol caught out!

  • @bcoy1para i ran it in 1999,u think i rememba if i was given a pack or not-also i dont save medals since they have images on them-i am religious and dont keep any trophies or medals with images since its a form of paganism...i dont bring things like that in my home,so usually i dont knwo what happens to da medals and dont care 4dem,i am there to compete-am not into medals or ribbons or foil like blankets-am there to compete-i may have my finishers certificate

  • @hich101 please dont lie to me!! i knowu never ran it, as i caught you out in a lie!! all overseas runners are given welcome packs from 05 onwards NOT 99 but u said u couldnt remember what u had in it!, thats becoz u were never given one! u said u have no idea where ur medal is , now ur saying you dont bring them into your home?? LOL enough with this lies, u been caught out.

  • u never ran it and i know for a fact, nice lie now top it, u are digging yourself deeper and deeeeeeeeeper.

  • @bcoy1para why would i lie-i ran boston too and of course NY.why lie i ran london?makes no sense to lie-i know i ran it-it was my 2nd marathon in 1999.

  • @hich101 you didnt run the london please dont lie!! isnt that gainst your "religon" also? please stop lying u never ran london and i proved it.

  • @bcoy1para doesnt count if no proof...any1 can claim it..sorry...if no proof dont blab

  • The New York City Marathon is a race unique in the world. It joins races, religions and people from any part of the globe. For one day I felt the sensation to be a "citizen of the world", to be supported and encouraged by thousand of unknown supporters, that gave me the energy to get the finish line in Central Park.

    Watch my video!!!

  • This year i am run the NYCM

  • Good luck !

  • I'm DEFINITELY running this race next year!!

I wanted to run it this year but I got the idea alittle too late to enter. :(

Oh well, I'll probably need more time to train. Its 26 miles 385 yards and I'm pretty winded after my 2 mile jog every day.

    Can't wait.

  • love the new york marathon =)

  • congratulation !! Sport Miscare - Sanatate Fizica si mentala. Men sana in corpore sana !!

  • I think watching would be my thing!! not as brave as those taking part!!

It looks like a fun time!!

  • The marathon is a great test of endurance, whether you win it or not. I reserve particular admiration for the people who run them to raise money for charity and those who are disabled in some way. Bravo to them.

  • Oh I don't know I might be a bit annoyed if I had powered my wheelchair all round the course for twenty-six miles and then someone uninvited pushed me for last 100 yards over the finish line.

  • Glad you finished :P

  • You are funny! I finished at home, on the couch, with coffee and a bagel.

  • LOL

  • Hey, you got a pretty good spot... how early did you have to get down there to claim it?

I went downtown for the Boston marathon this year... total chaos (in a good way). The bars all opened at 8AM, so all the spectators were totally ripped long before the runners approached the finish line.

  • I moved around a lot, covering 30 blocks. I was there for the early part of the running in my neighborhood. When I left it was getting really crowded. The bars are open early here as well. Most of the people come in droves to cheer their friends, most of whom are in the middle of the pack, so I got out just in time.

  • great footage once again phil, maybe we could incorporate some of this in the series

  • I've got about 40 minutes of it. You're welcome to use it.

  • Wasn't that you running along in the miniskirt and pumps? Who was holding the camera? :)

  • Busted! Damn. My friend Dumbledore was controlling the camera with his magic wand.

  • Excellent vid Phil. Really enjoy this.

  • Thanks, Russ.

  • My husband was watching this on TV the other day:-)

  • You got to see the really good coverage ;-).

  • Great edit job, Phil.

  • Thanks, Matt.

  • Tuberlands encode left something to be desired eh Phil? Enjoyed regardless... Thanks Bro...

    Pappy mumbled it... as usual...

  • The file before I uploaded it looked great, but now it is a little gauzy. Too many different colors and shapes for them to handle, I guess.

  • Yea I am always disappointed when I push the envelope with them...

  • Many moons ago they talked about accounts that you pay 2-3 dollars a month for and get better quality, larger uploads and some other premium features. Since I do a lot of visuals (as do you), I would be willing to pay a minimal amount for quality. But I haven't heard anything else about it.

  • Wow I never heard about that... that does pique Pappy's Interest... and not the kind finacial institutions pay he he

  • There was a questionnaire asking if about features people wanted and special director accounts that were paid for. Maybe not enough people showed interest.

  • go figue... I'm working graves right now I my brain is mush... But I have always thought since my vlogging is so crappy that artsy fartsy was my one true hope but then YT encodes *crimey*

  • That looked like fun. I would exhaust quickly though. That band is very good.

  • I walked about 30 blocks taping them and I was exhausted. Running 26 miles? Please.

  • The band seems to have a strong Grateful Dead influence.

  • True, they do.

  • Why were they running? I didn't see any lions chasing them! ;-)

  • They had the heebie jeebies.

  • Muggers?

  • I love the spirit NYers have. Its a good example to set for the rest of the world.

  • Thanks. I agree, and it's good to hear. So many people enjoy hating us. I'm glad you don't.
