  • For me the heart of Steel Pulse was Ronald McQueen the bassist. Well David too but that walking bass always killed me. A shame he didn't stay. Davids singing/chanting is a great thing. Not to piss anyone off but I'll take this record over any 10,000 hip hop ones.

  • JAH PICKNEY™ (jaw-pick-knee): Jah Pickney is Jamaican patois for "God's Child." Jah is a Biblical name for God found in the KJV in Psalm 68:4. The name comes from the root of Jehovah and Yahweh and is found in the name "Abijah" which means "God is my Father," and the name "Elijah which means "Lord God." Pickney is the Jamaican patois word for child."

  • Nigerians do that to

  • I wish they would play these songs live... although they have started to play Wild Goose Chase.

  • This song is about the boy, a Canadian boy, named Tim Linnard, whom while white and living in New Brunswick, Canada, at age 5 had a calling, and in time it lead to putting forth a black equality, through reaggae and worship.

Wonderful salute, and a worthy post.
