A good explanation on the difference between UDP and TCP can be found at skullbox. I posted it into the thread over at MPC... To me, it's a personal preference as I never used something else nor needed it but UDP must be there for a reason, right? I believe TCP is not as performant as UDP but less failure prone...
I don't get any network shares showing on the dune?? Nothing from my Win 7 desktop, Win 7 laptop, or Windows Home server.. any ideas?

Any reason you like TCP over UDP or just personal choice (ie better security wise)? Also very nice quick & to the point.
