From crash landing on Earth(Gotham City),training on Themiscara/Paradise Island with the Amazons, being Darkseid's hypnotic slave, her first fight against evil(Darkseid), to finally choosing to be a heroine sporting the El family symbol on her chest. It's a Supergirl origin story.

The animation is actually trying to copy Michael Turner's style when he did this story back in Superman/Batman #4. He is mostly famous for Witchblade and Fathom both Top Cow comics. He passed away in 2008.

The difference between Diana and Barda in this version? Besides taller, different facial features & skin tone...the "big" in Barda is lost. In JLU, she was amazingly fit & ideal, and no mistaking she was big, muscular, and curved, dwarfing Scott, who was ideally fit too
