I went to an outdoor concert not knowing who was playing, and it was him. It turned out to be one of the best live shows I have ever seen!! I was, and continue to be, very impressed. Much love :-)
That beatbox was fuckin amazing! This band really has there shit together, this is some real music. Whole show was worth seeing, Coolest thing was when they were playing king wothout a crown, it started raining outside my room when he was saying thunder
the band members in Matisyahu video, aren't they the members of Brandon boid's band INCUBUS!! i dont think thier names match and the video isn't totally clear! any one got facts
No, none of them were ever in Incubus. The guitarist is Aaron Dugen, the bassist is Josh Werner, and the drummer is Jonah David. None of which ever played in Incubus. Aaron is the last remaining band member to stay with Matis. Now he also has the band Dub Trio backing him up. Very good. I still miss this band setup, though.

that guy is his boy i forget his name. Look at the video with the kimmel performance and interview. Matis says his name and the guy your talking about is Muslim too.
@britandyx : I've been listening reggae for a couple of years and I think shake off the dust is a good reggae album... Youth is not as good but Matisyahu is not white middle-class reggae
Actually I don't understand why people see him like a jewish who plays reggae, Harrison Stafford (Groundation's singer) is jewish too but it doesn't surprise anybody...
My family and I saw him in Vegas Aug 23 and his vibe was even stronger than I imagined. His vibe moves you! He is my inspiration as a Chassidic Jew, which got me out of some of the roughest times of my life, which I will not go back to at all and got me back to being what I know I am suppose to be.

i dont think hesidic jews should get into fuckin reggae, that would be like me,, a german(half german, half brittish) going to afrika and beating on drums and jumping up and down singing zuuluuuuzulluuujajajaaaaa...its just fucking stupid. sounds like crap anyway, reggae has the shittiest guitar chords, but the clash made it sound good with their punk influence.....see what i mean, its wierd.....but to each his own.
