oliver the bulldog loves to swim, and hates the life jacket! he aways gets it off to go for a swim!

My English Bulldog loves to swim without a life jacket. She pulls to get into the water. Of course we stick very close to her.

bulldogs can swim but they really shouldnt. since they have restricted breathing its not a very good idea since they can choke in the water alot easier then most dogs

@dom44444 I think the general rule is some bulldogs legs are too short to balance themselves and they can possibly flip over.

I'm a bullie breeder, and all of my dogs swim. Most people think they can't, but they can. They just have a rough time cuz their legs are short and they are very dense (not dumb just packed with muscle) They can swim great when they want too!
