thanks, i am actually going to update the video since i got some new goodies in the showroom, i think everyone will really enjoy... Soon to be coming in will be the Confidence C4 MK2 models
Is there anything that can compete in the world with Dynaudio at their price points in your opinion? I am seriously thinking of some contour s3.4... tks
No Dynaudio for the price is going to be your absolute best bet. For pure performance and price you can't beat them. We have been a Dynaudio dealer now for almost 10 years and they have never wavered in quality... Your making a good choice.
One final question - I think it's pretty much agreed dynaudio are very neutral speakers - in your experience what has been the best amplifier match (not home thearter) with dyn's? again i've heard some comments but i'd really like to hear your thoughts given your experience and love of dyn's. cheers
Get serious. The Oppo BDP 83 blows your Denon blu ray away. That Denon Blu Ray is not even in the same league as the Oppo. Denon makes incredible receivers, but, seriously, the best blu ray..
The Denon has a better video processor and DAC's... its for TRUE audio and videophile's... i have been doing this for almost 10 years. Denon has been in the A/V field for 100 years! Trust a company that knows what they are doing... not some fly by night internet company... i have a few customers that bought the Oppo... they went Denon after they saw the difference...
The Dynaudio Contour S5.4's without the piano black finish are $10,000, the Contour S CX again without the finish is $3,300, the side speakers are Contour S R's are again with out the finish are $2,300, the Dynaudio Sub 500's are $2,200 without the finish. The piano black lacquer adds a 20% upcharge. The processor which is now a Denon AVP-A1CI is $7,500, the blu-ray player is $2,000 and the Parasound Halo A51 amp is $4500 the Runco projector is $8000 and the screen is $1200. :)
Sound wise, I would put my theater up against your studio theater anytime. Especially with my recent upgrade to 2 SVS PB13 ultras.

Nice video! I am using Parasound Halo A 51 and Denon 4311 as preamp. Oppo BDP-95 as Blu-Ray and 5.2 system from B&W(683,htm 61,685 and CM10x2).
Awesome combination!

That is very nice! Can you give a round estimate on how much each thing cost? (Except the PS3)
