the begine is a slow latin dance. i know what i am talking about because i am taking my tap teacher training exam tomorrow and its all about the feeling of the music and relaxtion. It was slightly too controlled although your tapping was good :)

Is this I.S.T.D Tap? Cos this is the same gradee as me and I don't think we've done this yet, but if it is, I can't wait to start. We've just been doing fast jazz.

cool, I am just starting a new dance school and we do the ISTD board, but before we did the IDTA. I find there are a lot more named steps in the ISTD and I don't know what some of them are although I have done the steps before.

umm grade 5 is for around 10 year olds im 12 and i do alot more than that im in grade 7 now.

@elisem957 Erm first of all it goes grade six, then intermediate, not grade seven. Second of all, it doesn't really matter what age you are, it's your ability, people just use age as an excuse to show off. And lastly, if you're twelve you shouldn't really have a Youtube account :)

@elisem957 er no it isnt.. and there isn't a grade 7.. im 15 and im in grade 5, ive been doing tap for about 8 years.. you either don't do it with istd or your being rushed through grades.

@ChelsieNotChelsea im the same as you, takin my grade 5 tomorrow and im 15, tap dancing since i was 6. obviously they dont do ISTD and do one of the really rushed exam boards where all they care about is a 'pass'

I did grade 5 only 3 years ago (age 7) well i took my exam but then quit on grade 6 cause they didnt teach me anything for 4 months,they were realy strict and shouted and it cost over 80 pound a month!

woah we do this way different. like for one the music is different and we do the sping clips and shuffle ect. to diff direction and the turning step to the diagonal and the runs to the side the the spring shuffle shuffle ect. and suppposed to be "like a secret" so rewlly quiet and then different timing on the end. we're always told out arms should be like ginger rogers. im taking the exam tomorrow oh dear
