The Z4 isn't even close to the Boxster in terms of handling, build quality or speed. My last car was a BMW Z4 3.0i, same colour as this one. My current car is a Porsche Boxster, PDK and I feel like I gave up a toy to drive a real sports car. Sorry Z4 owners, but at least your cars look cool still! :)

i use my 911 in weekend getaways, i use the backseats for luggage space. the Cayman is great , but once you get the 911 bug, you are hooked , the car is addictive.

I dont like either, but a the boxter is porsches lowest end model. its as if boxter owners are so desperate to own a porsche theyd stoop to get a deliberately watered down version of their sports cars

@rarecpus Maybes not everyone can afford a 911 ever consider that? More to the point it costs porsche £6000 more to make and build a 911 turbo than a boxster and they sell them at more than twice the price, boxster looks a bit of a bargain to me.

They are testing a 2.7 Boxster (Not an 'S') against a 3.0 Z4. A better test would have been the Z4M Roaster against the 'real' 3.4 Boxster S. That would have been a match worth watching!!

yeah its not the S version. if you look closely you can see the boxster's exhaust tip, the S got the dual exhaust tip, but this one doesnt.

the S (3.4) is almost as fast the z4m.

Yeah, the Boxster isn't the S version, the S has six gears, they said this one has just five. Trust me though, there is a helluva difference between the S and the 2.7

this isn't the si, this was the original 3.0i with 231hp but still manages to be faster on the straights than the 236hp boxster
