@HisDivineLoveForever You've probably just lost 20 bucks. I'm a fan of Chase, but I agree there's not a lot of groove here. Soul and talent in buckets, but the day I saw Benny Greb grooving in the flesh, everything I knew about drumming just changed. Just like martinmedeski needs to be more open minded, so do you, there's a lot more ways to challenge yourself in drumming than metal. I was predominately a metal drummer until recently and still am in a band, but I barely ever practice it now.

Its even better that despite being a master drummer he's also a team player. He's clearly composed some of his drum parts to help let the guitars shine too. Not the interludes that's a given, but the solos and some of the kickass leads( like a sudden pause to let the guitars slap the audience in their ear p*****s). He's a perfect band member.
