I used to step in to John's sets for a song back when he was in NYC. I would do "Chantilly Lace" as "The Big Skinny Bopper." He was always a real friendly guy and a wonderful talent.

I saw John England and the Western Swingers at Lincoln Center in NYC and they were great! 'Open That Gate' is the title of their latest CD which is a lot of fun to listen to.
