  • Wonderful! A very good piece and very good players! Thank u very much for this video!

  • Soulja is better than all of them.......Lol!!!!!

^^^ I'm sorry I couldn't keep a straight face saying that. Seriously, these people have some real skills.

  • Adagio con Molto Sentimento D'affetto

One of my favorite tempo markings in the repertoire and my favorite cello sonata. Good job on a very difficult piece.

  • Look, I'm just a casual ignoramus with no background in music, but I found this to be beautiful. Thanks to the performers and the uploader for their contribution.

  • It's thai.

  • I thought that was awesome...I'm new listening to classical music and I was listening to this for my intro to music class. I was wondering if anyone could help me with finding what the form is?

  • I'm not sure what you're asking; it's in Sonata form, meaning it has 3 movements and each with its own requirements for it to actually BE a sonata.

  • This is the slow movement from Beethoven's Sonata for Cello and Piano in D, Op.102, No.2. The form for this movement is ternary (3-part, or sometimes called "ABA"), meaning the outer two sections are similar in key and thematic layout, while the middle sections serves as contrast. Section I runs from [0:00] to about [3:05], II from [3:06] to about [5:42], and III from [5:43] to the end. Hope this helps and that you enjoy your intro to music... :)

  • Thanks for helping me out! I'm really liking the class and I appreciate you helping me :)

  • congratulations, this video is an excellente interpretation of Beethoven.

    :D

  • eccezionale!

  • This is Thai..as in Thailand the country.

  • AHAHAHA! he had syphalus, cut the legs off his piano and put a broomstick in ear in order to hear the music.

    now, picture it. xD

  • i like it

  • Esos gorditos hacen buena pareja y tocan muy bien

  • I was just saying that: สนามบินนานาชาติ กรุงเทพฯ หรือที่รู้จักกันโดยทั่วไปว่า สนามบินดอนเมือง ซึ่งอยู่ภายใต้การดูแลของ กรมการขนส่งทางอากาศ (ข.อ.) กระทรวงคมนาคม

  • @SyNth0 I think it is Thai--Tai Kadai.

  • I know everything!

  • Well my cello has a crack in the f hole can this be fixed ?

  • Ya, You could try and find some one like in your town. But if not, I think Shar Will do it.

  • Thanks for the info, i really liked the song.

  • يعني مو مره حلو .. burda ne yazıyo okuya bilen varmı.:D

  • Uhhh. I don't think this is D Major... If it is then this is the saddest major key I've heard

  • That's only because it's a second movement. The first movement is most likely in a major key; the second is in contrasting minor. The sonata is known by the key the first movement is in.

  • Oh, allright, that makes more sense then. I was thinking that D major is one of the happiest keys, but this song sounds pretty sad.

  • beautiful!!! Beethoven is the best composer ever!! it is so sad...:-(

  • wonderful!!....absolutely breath taking..

  • Beethoven was deaf

  • yea. it's amazing that he wrote most of his stuff from just hearing it in his head. really awesome.

  • well, he used to cut the legs off of his pianos so he could feel the vibrations. but either way its incredible

  • NO WAY!!!!!

  • يعني مو مره حلو

  • J'vais parler en francais !

    Incroyable!

C'est juste trop parfait, trop bon!!!!!

  • w-o-w....... 0.o a-MA-zing

  • Great job guys.

  • don't you love beethoven's songs its trumendusly beautfull don't you think.

everybody say beethove s the best

  • No, I can speak properly!

  • @LaughLearnLive

as much as i love Beethoven, he himself held Bach in the highest regard, I think only Bach himself is worthy of being called the best. Beethoven even agreed! lol. But still, you played this phenomenally!!!!!!

  • i thought it was excellent, i almost cried at one point it felt so emotional T_T, good job, hope to see more from you on here

  • I'll admit, these are good. And, they remind me how little I listen to these works. That should change.

Thanks for the music- you both did well.

  • 5* good job

  • lol fair enough.

    it's in 2/4, not 8/16.

  • This is Beautiful.

  • Cellocorman, you and your piano accompanist play most beautifully. Your vibrato is perfect and you sustain the bass notes very well. There are a couple of spots of intonantion difficulties, but the feeling is quite wonderful. Keep up the good work and PLEASE continue posting!

  • I play the violin and I would have to say that was great

  • Great..very sweet! Thanks for your execution and sharing!

  • Yeah, extremely cool, now the difference between rap or other stuff becomes almost visible :)

  • You both have a very good sense for Beethoven!

  • amazing ...

    like this sonata

  • I only wished I was there to fully experience it. My Bose speakers are great, but the real thing is best. Wonderful performance!!

  • That was very remarkable!! I loved it. Somethings sound alittle off time, but I'm not familiar with this piece so I'm not too sure, I was jsut saying. Loved it though. Great job!

  • fake!

  • increible

  • I'm not a musician, but it brought tears to my eyes.

    Loved it.

  • This is a really difficult movement, interpretively, but I think this performance is generally good. Like the performers of old, it may take years of living with this piece to really grow into it. My only criticism is that it doesn't move forward as an organic whole, completely. But really, these late Beethoven slow movements are very hard to keep together with unwavering concentration.
