  • I have three mini schnauzers! I have a white male schnauzer and his fur is curly and gets tangled easily so i usually just shave him all down. But on my other two schnauzers they are salt and pepper and have silky straight hair, i give them the traditional schnauzer cut, next time i groom them, im gonna try the back leg like you did, i always did it different. I am leaving them longer for the winter though... its cold up here :(.

  • Wish me luck mystic is about to get a cut from mommy

  • Your videos are wonderful! Thank you so very much. We are senior citizens and have a standard Poodle and a Schnauzer - the grooming fees are prohibitive to our fixed income. I am learning and doing the two myself. It is NOT easy buy I have the time.

  • bad bad bad grooming.do you know what is stripping???

  • @TheCapitanokirk Not all pet dogs need to be stripped. This isn't a show dog so why does it matter?

  • bet you the dog groomers about are loving you - I got a new Schnauzer puppy but im gonna save these vids for the future - many thanks - great vid.

  • Thank you Sooooo much for doing this utube. I found it extremely helpful!!!

  • So is that guard and clipper specifically for a dog as we have been using our clippers and going with a 3-4 blade is that TOO short??

  • I have been grooming my White 4.5 year old schnauzer for a year now, every since Petsmart cut him really bad and left a scar and have NEVER been able to get his beard right so I am SO EXCITED to see this video!! THANK YOU FOR DOING IT!! he just prefers to have us do it! and this will help us out A LOT!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FROM US AND MOJO!!!!!

  • BACKBRUSH!!!!!

  • just groomed a schnauzer for the first time this morning, wouldn't of been able to do it without your help....CHEERS! xx

  • Please tell me you're in Cleveland!

  • @SheSoTalented216 I'm sorry, I'm not in Cleveland... I would gladly groom your dog if I were though. ;)

  • I had looked several times for free grooming videos and finally found yours, thanks so much! You give some great tips. I was wondering how I would learn the harder cuts! Started a new biz- not afraid to try and mess up - and had done a few already with no experience, but I just had a general sense of it cause I showed my brittany as a kid and have always been around lots of dogs (pres of dog park club now and worked at shelters :) - your videos made me alot more confident! THANKS!

  • Is PETSMART known for having good quality groomers?

  • i wish you lived near me to groom my doggie. i took mine to a groomers and she did not do a good job.

  • I've seen so many groomers that are just rough and rude to the dogs they clip and bathe. It's good to see that you enjoy your job and that you are very sweet towards your 'customers'.

I enjoy dog and cat grooming, but few people will allow me practice on theirs. :P The most I've done is trimmed feathering, bathed (several times on same dog), dryed (with a grooming dryer), brushed out, and shaved to a specific length.

  • nice shirt yo

  • LOVE YOUR EXPLANATIONS. I AM A GROOMER AND YOU ARE VERY CLEAR!

  • he's such a good boy. cute too.

  • I'm really enjoying your videos. I especially like your explanation for the differences between a Cocker Spaniel cut and a Schnauzer. That will help it stick in my mind.

  • @peachy6969 Thanks, glad you like it! That is how I was taught and it sure helps me :)
