Second, your point about Al Qaeda gaining strength as a result of our activities in Iraq is so far beyond the pale it hardly deserves a response.

What you need to think seriously about is this--they don't hate us because of what we do, they hate us because of who we are (e.g. free, egalitarian, tollerant). Go ahead Obama, negotiate with that.
