Well now lets honestly step back and look at this. A 15 sec truck is racing a 13 sec car. My 14 flat v6 car smoked the shit out of an i-force tundra even when he tried the ricer fly by several times. I have a good friend with an auto SRT-8 and I could keep up like half way through first till he started to pull away. Plus the b isnt a 6.1 is it? Should be a 5.7 and if this is a 5.7 then this race is possible.

you are right. People often put fanboy loyalty above all else. However this is not an apples-to-apples comparison and in a heads-up race of these two cars (stock, that is) the charger would under normal circumstances have him for lunch every time. No reasonable person would dispute this obvious fact. This is clearly a publicity thing - the Tundra isn't stock and his reaction time is so much "faster" he probably redlighted. So all bets are off and the result is rather meaningless.

Ok, first off if that was the 6.1 it would have ate the tundra. Even if it was the 5.7. The truck is heavier and either the driver of the charge was asleep or he gave the tundra a head start. I like toyota too don't get me wrong. But I also know what the Hemi is capable of.

nah they launched it out in 2008 basicly i dont think theyd revise it until atleast 2011 and maybe a new model in 2012-2014 or so. im not getting the whistling sound (yet) but i think somethings up with the SRS in the passenger side im thinking thats got to be it since i tried to get under the hood and upto the firewall to find nothing wrong. i havent removed stuff from the inside yet but im sure nothings broken. its not major but like you said, it annoys the shit out ofo you sometime.

Tundra isnt even a good truck. that f150 got hit in the passenger side between the door and the rear tire by a brand new 2010 Tundra that was leaving the dealership because of a Brake problem and throttle sticking recall.. Best of all it was being driven by a state highway patrol off duty. it didnt even bend the frame on the F150 but the front end of the Tundra was smashed in so far it bent his front axle. speed dont matter on trucks... quality does for working.

a) no such thing as "superbee 6.1" the SRT is the only charger with a 6.1 and it only comes in 3 colors. yellow isnt one of them.
b) anyone see the charger's time on that run? cuz i sure didn't. but from the camera's viewpoint it seems to me that the charger got off the line slower, and reeled it in and passed him at the end.
