  • BAND OF HORSES!

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • such a beautiful song!

  • i didn't know ceelo has this cover until now. :)

  • hate to say it but better then original!

  • the original is garbage

  • @vcMalice the original is garbage? u need a reality check boy the original is 100 times better than this shit.

  • @MikefMusic1 Yes, the original is garbage. It's whiny bullshit and Cee-lo resurrected it. You seem mad.

  • @vcMalice I seem mad because dipshits like u can't see good music if it kicked u in the nuts. yes this is good but band of horses definetley was better

  • @MikefMusic1 I love band of horses, hate the song. sorry champ

  • @vcMalice it's ok. u don't have 2 like every song. sorry 4 freaking out on u

  • if you don't know who originally sang this song, then you're an idiot.

cee-lo is smart for covering this :) now fans get to know some real great music/lyrics <3

  • No One's Gonna Love You.. originally - Band of Horses ........game over about original version....

    ..both different.... both awesome...

  • I like this version is good. Still like the original more, but this is so good and different

  • I think Cee-Lo is Frank Ocean's long lost father and they need to reunite and make an indie song together right now.

  • @INSANEINTHEDOME SHUT UP

  • @peacockman00 Oops sorry dude i ment JLCrazy25 comment but i agree!!!

  • @peacockman00 whats your problem? Dont like good singers?

  • i can't tell if i like it or not...

  • Great cover!

  • My mind is made up. Cee-Lo Green is a badass.

  • Cee-Lo KILLS this songs. This is the only cover i know of that is better than the original.

  • Cee-Lo does BoH justice with this one

  • yo this joint is rockin i like the drum kit in it lol

  • Band of Horses KILL IT!

  • ah, perfection.

  • I can't stand the Band of Horses one but this one is great.

  • @Ryhnhart How can you say that?! Band of Horses is the Copernicus of music, appreciated by few, but in the end they turn out to be genious!

  • @Ryhnhart Watch the video for Dilly and its impossible not to love them

  • @DenaiMooreMusic Amen to that

  • This is... not good. And I happen to like his other project Gnarles Barkley. Dislike. I prefer the original version by Band of Horses.

  • @fivesecondrules Each to their own bro. Personally I think he adds a nice touch to it, but then again I don't think I've heard a Cee Lo song that I haven't liked, original or not.

  • freakin...coooll...cee lo my kind of entertainer...superrr..tqvm doe88Boy

  • DAMN ! First time i hear this cover after listen and listen and listen again Band of horses one, this one A SHAME !!!

  • Why is every indie song associated with being a hipster? Stop stereotyping shit.

  • The original is wispy, whiny, dime a dozen hipster dross. This is SOUL!

  • Cee Lo, hero

  • It is obvious he is in love now or at some point. He is able to express his feelings and isn't afraid to say it aloud. I admire Cee-Lo for is courageousness. I wish I had a platform to scream out loud so everyone could hear the inside of my soul. My deepest feelings sung to a sweet melody. Go ahead Cee-Lo I feel ya. Go for it. Grab the gold and I will listen and feel every strum of the melody. Every hurt, every glorious syllable that has cause us pain and happiness.

  • @StarTracyGirl tht was beautiful -tears-

  • @Epic0Studios Most guys won't take out the trash let alone pour out the inside of their souls all over the floor in front of the whole world. And Cee-Lo does it with such class and so much sensitivity. I can't even get a light lunch or dinner. lol .

  • Yeah he stole the song but it jams anyway....this is my new theme song....

  • @CassiusAli3000 He didn't steal it; it's called a cover.

  • @thegreatmabel You say tomato I say to ma to...whats da diff....he used the same exact words....So cover is what they calling it...smh.

  • I find both version of this song incredible. Cee lo brings a more up beat feel to it, always interesting to hear new version even if there not as good.

  • fuck band of horses

  • Thos is the BEST VERSION of the song..the other one sounded like boy band crap...i still havent listened the old one because it was so crappy

  • I mean seriously.

This isn't even on the same level as the Band of Horses version.

They sang it 10x better than this ex-criminal pig.

  • ruined a great song right there

  • i never thot id love cee lo green this much

  • Brockway was full of crap - BoH is great, although I can see why people might not like their sound - and I like the original. But I think I may like the cover better. At the very least, the intro to this version made me remember why I like the original so much. So good job to both of you.

  • Cee-Lo's voice never fails to give me the shivers...

  • Two things:

One: I was unaware that Cee-Lo had done a cover of this song until I read the Cracked article.

Two: This is a beautiful cover. The original is one of my favorite BoH songs ever, but this does a perfect job of capturing the same level of emotion while making it his own.

    Kudos to both artists.

  • @buzzmoe10 haha i was just reading the article lolol

  • I've never heard so much soul from an artist. I know this is a cover, but I'd like to say that I think he's a fantastic lyricist.

  • i perfer both versions

  • Cracked isn't top comment!? :O

  • Hm. This is nice. =)

  • I prefer this one.

  • As much as I don't enjoy Cee Lo's music. This is better than the original (only my opinion, of course).

  • stolen

  • No One's Gonna Love You is a beautiful song no matter who sings it. I like the original better, honestly, but I love Cee Lo and I think his version is great as well.

  • paul epworth mix isnt bad, but boh original is by far the best

  • Robert Brockway is right.

  • @HaHaHamHammer he is not!

  • @HaHaHamHammer Only half-right.

  • @HaHaHamHammer funny how everyone came to this from the cracked article lol,

  • I'm a bit on the fence with this one. Band of Horses version strikes something in me and brings to mind everything I've ever felt in a previous relationship. But Cee Lo adds a completely different element that makes it very unique to him. It gives a different vibe and sounds more hopeful while Band of Horses version is tinged with desperation. Both are great in their own way.

  • This is Cee-Lo's version...period. It's cool.

  • For once, just remove the stupid shitty drum track. You don't need a fuckin' beat on everything. You're supposed to feel it emotionally, not tap your fuckin' foot. This is a complete joke.

  • this is freakin horrible!!

  • cee lo can carry the song very well. i like his version but band of horses singer has a longing to it that cee lo misses. good stuff, great song either way. good to see multiple artists spin a song their own way.

  • Cee-Lo completely outdid Band of Horses on this song. I know it's their song and all, but his voice carries this song alot better.

  • @TheDekedog yeah im with you with the voice... but the fact that the chorus is in a major key fucks it up i think.

  • i love this song <3

  • YO, ANYONE EVER HEARD OF BAND OF HORSES??????

  • The symphonic arrangements are a bit corny, but besides that it's a cover that does justice and is sonically pleasant. Props Cee-lo.

  • Band of Horses sang this song with meaning...

    Cee-Lo Green... Just... No...

  • He looks like a pug

  • cee lo has something band of horses doesn't. soul. nuff said

  • @AndrewDavisMusic EXACTLY!

  • @AndrewDavisMusic Nope. He has autotune and crappy drum beat. Band Of Horses sings this song beautifully, with meaning to it. Cee Lo isn't an artist, he's a person talking into a mic and having a computer make him sound good.

  • @SickShortMovies thats Cee Lo's voice... and one way or another, even WITH autotune you have to have a pretty good voice. autotune doesnt make bad voices good...

  • @SickShortMovies Really? The dude does not use autotune. You should go listen to him live. Half the time he sounds better and more raw than he does on a recording. The guy's got a phenomenal voice.

  • "It's By Far The Best Version".......Soselberg Tuck That Says It All

  • DIRTY DIRTY SOUTH NIGGA KILL EM LO

  • @Akiramun I notice everyone on your subscription list has a neckbeard. Classy.

  • Cee-lo, you look like a human-teddy bear hybrid but gosh darn it can you cover a song.. Bravo sir. :)

  • omg he covered this.

  • Band of Horses cover , the best ive heard...

  • as a band of horses fan, i must say ... love it

  • I was going to comment on how terrible this rendition of the song is, but I urge you to listen to the original. It's a much better version, but, to each his/her own.

  • Cee Lo is very talented and he has an awesome voice, but without listening to Band of Horses' original one, you won't get the beautiful raw emotion that comes with it :)

  • amazing

  • Both versions are great, each in their own way. The vocals here are beautiful.

  • This song plays all the time in the store I work at, I can't stand it!

    He slaughtered it!

Good job making a song that only makes me desperately want to listen to another song D:

  • wow people are saying how great the vocals are, too bad they are fed threw a computer program and autotuned to sound so good.

i like this version, but the orginial still has better vocals.

  • @XtremelyAnonymous420 listen to him live and tell me he cant sing

  • @fotweny He wasn't saying Cee-Lo can't sing, he was saying, even through the R'n'B mix, his vocals don't compare to Ben Bridwell of Band Of Horses, and very few people can sing as well as him

  • @ThePinklok were gonna have to agree to disagree cause i like this version much better. dont like other dudes voice.

  • @fotweny Ben Bridwell has one of the greatest voices ever in alternative rock, pop will never compare to any type of rock, so there is no way Cee-Lo is better.. In my opinion obvs

  • @ThePinklok

pop will never compare to any type of rock?

    were done

  • @fotweny you listen to your pop, but i would sooner listen to any rock song

  • @ThePinklok No, he does not have "one of the greatest voices ever in alternative rock" his voice is actually fairly weak comparatively. In the Band of Horses original, they need to ADD reverb effects just to make his voice epic and interesting. He has no vibrato, and so his voice doesn't resonate. Dallas Green of Alexisonfire/City and Colour has a stronger voice, as does Chino Moreno of Deftones and Cedric Bixler-Zavala of The Mars Volta.

  • @AubinMagnus It doesn't matter how 'strong' a voice is.. If you listebn to the emotion and meaning he puts into his songs, it is alot better than a lumpless, emotionless twat with a 'strong' voice.. But I do love Dallas Green

  • @ThePinklok That's part of having a great voice. Not just strength, but emotion. Cee-lo has both. The singer of Band of Horses lacks emotion, passion, and strength in the original version of this song. Hurt (both versions by NIN and Johnny Cash) has far more emotion. The original makes me feel like he's taken valium and is just reciting the lyrics. I have to admit, he has good diction though.

  • @AubinMagnus You cannot say Cee=lo puts emotion into this and Ben Bridwell doesn't.. You seriously need to learn about music

  • @ThePinklok I quite can. It's evident from the vocals. I listened to both songs. You can hear the emotion in Cee-lo's voice, Ben Bridwell's voice is just pure valium.

  • @AubinMagnus That is completely wrong. I respect your opinion and that but that is complete bullcrap. Ben Bridwell will always be more emotional than any pop artist, simple as that!

  • @AubinMagnus

Thank you for sharing your opinion, oh king of music.

    Touch your butthole faggot.

  • @joeyxdope Very eloquently said, oh great king of the English language. You are such a gentleman, I am in awe.

  • @XtremelyAnonymous420 um....you really need to listen to a cee lo song....autotune or not he sings his ass off and away lol

  • this was awesome. i love band of horses n i think he did a good cover. go CEE LO!

  • like this if you would spark it up with cee lo

  • awesome.

  • yoututbe should make the dislike button read "haters"

  • ohhh i love cee lo band of horses is so under rated maybe if someone sees this theyll listen to their music!:)

guys this really isnt that bad! whats the point of making a cover if it sounds exactly like the original? exactly. so those who are saying this doesnt sound like the original or crappy, its not supposed to. cee lo and band of horses are two completely different genres of music.

  • Cee-Lo adds tons of soul to the original song. I like it a zillion times better, since we all comment on both songs comparatively.

  • Its crazy how this and the bands of horses version are so different... but they both are equally awesome to me. And I love that we still have good music like this

  • OMG BAND OF HORSES VERSION IS 20 TIMES BETTER THAN ThIS SHIT

  • @themrmorbo then go watch that and stop hating on this please

  • Most videos nowadays are littered with these dregs commenting with ' I prefer this persons version, I prefer that persons version, This version sucks..'

SHUT THE FUCK UP! No-One Cares! If you don't like the song, don't then comment on it.Go and listen to another song and take your fucking comment's with you!

  • @homerjsimpson145 idiot. THATS WHAT A COMMENT SECTION IS FOR....TO MAKE COMMENTS AND EXPRESS YOUR OPINION.

  • @faaaaq Granted, But if you don't like the song why would you take the time to then go to the comments and then tell people you don't like it? That's what i don't understand. If i don't like a song i would just turn it off and look for another song, not then go and post a comment about how much i hate the song. It's just pointless

  • @homerjsimpson145 Why do you get butthurt if people post their opinions? Who are you to tell others what to do what not to do? Can't you shut the fuck up?

  • @unknownymous911 Well your comment is just hilarious. Why do YOU get butthurt by me posting MY opinion? And you're telling me to shut the fuck up so who are YOU to tell ME what to do? Bless you for trying to be a little internet warrior.

  • @homerjsimpson145 So basically what you're saying is that no one should ever criticize songs, right? I mean, there is definitely something to be said for incredibly stupid criticism, but seriously, just to outright say "like it or leave it" is completely idiotic and counter-intuitive.

  • @homerjsimpson145 words of wisdom sir

  • Thanks Cee Lo Green for being a artist and not sampling this song an actually singing this song.

  • To everyone whos debating, Ben, the lead singer was the composer of this song. Cee Lo and the BoH group are great friends!!

  • I do like the Band of Horse version better....there was a lot of conviction that I felt when he was singing also ... Live version of anything is always better.

  • I honestly came here expecting him to have shit all over it (Nothing against him, I love his original works, just doesn't seem like it would work) but I'll be damned, he kills it. I respect him so much more now. His voice is perfect for this song.

  • If you like:

    Just Cee-Lo's version- you're a conformist

Just Band of Horses' version- you're a hipster

    Both- you're a music lover ♫

  • @NettieRosetta and a hipster

    LOL

  • WOW, this version is the sh*t !!!!!!!!!!!!! Though,I'm not trying to be rude for those that like the other version :)

  • Eh.. Band of Horses' version was wayyy better..

  • Can we stop arguing? Both versions are good. I'ma HUGE Band of Horses fan, and I don't think Cee Lo ruined the song, nor am I small-minded or petty (although I am a fab of Tom Petty...). So @kuraruka, your theory is false and we can all continue listening in peace.

  • Both versions are good... Band of Horses version is more of a passionate intimate feeling in their song which I know that two people who are in love can truly appreciate it, while Cee-Lo's version is something more on the line of that it can be truly appreciated at a high school dance or some kind of party environment IMHO.

  • @GreyMessenger Personally I feel Cee Lo's voice has far more emotion and depth, that other dude's voice from the original is just boring and annoying.

  • People have been doing covers for a very long time. The point isn't to outdo the original but to interpret it differently and even give props to the original. It isn't a competition.

  • @vivamandi well said!

  • Fit for malls, elevators, hair salons, and the 'burbs. Yuck.

  • @Raggedkompany nah, I love it!

  • @sweetbutdaring I hold no grudges - love on, Garth!

  • Band of Horses is amazing, but I can never deny a voice with soul.

  • I like them both I'm super torn!!

  • Fuck this

  • The climax of this song is in the chorus, the tittle itself. and sorry cee lo changed the tones! maybe if he kept them. Id listen to Band of Horses better! sorry Cee Lo.

  • i didn't like this at all when i first heard it, what place does Cee Lo Green have covering a band of horses song? but it's growing on me. i enjoy it.

  • i kinda dont like it.. i feel like he's trying to hard. origina > copys

  • I play this CD a million times in one day, LoL!

  • Not a bad attempt at all, he sings it well, but I don't like the difference of notes in the chorus

  • I respect this guy a lot more because of him covering this song. I didn't disrespect him or anything before, just never really payed much attention to him.

  • I do not agree with the folks that seem to think that Cee-Lo sings with more emotion or is more soulful than Ben Bridwell (Band Of Horses). If you watch any of the love performances, or even just listen to the original, you can hear the feeling. Mainly because it isn't over produced with a ton of beats and studio sounds.

  • @bturco22 the fact that they have different voices period is a big factor. The sound of their voices are different and produce different feeling from different people. If you took the beat out of both songs their voices alone are completely different. Its a personal preference.

  • @TheFatNorman yeah not better than original, def not.

he does sings it more soulfully but with more emotion, personally i'd disagree

  • Both the versions sound great!!!! But this has a fast tempo and it's in fact great!!

  • i am generally not a fan of such a pop artist to cross over and do any indie-type music, but he actually does a pretty incredible job. and DUH its not going to sound the same. he's doing HIS version. and its pretty damn awesome :]

  • This is the man's interpretation of the original... shut the fuck up haters and enjoy what was written. This guy has some great vocals there is no denying the fact.

  • @derksenwill Nope. Everyone is entitled to give their full honest feedback, including negative feedback. If you are getting butthurt about it, then you're the hater.

  • @BasementBeginnings ha butthurt lol i love it
