He did what more pro's should do; continue to race until you can't make a good living at it. God gave you a talent, ride as long as you can. These guys retiring at 28 yrs old is BS! They work their whole lives to get to the top and then retire after a couple years. IDIOTS. Good job Mike, loved watching you ride for 20 or so years!

The worst starter in history. the best passer. could have had a couple of more championships if he knew how to leave the gate. one of the most expensive defects such a talent could have. And he never realy sorted it out. fun to watch. but i doubt if its fun to be his wife or kid. allways seems a little sullen.

back in the 90's the green #7 became my first SX Idol. I loved watching him always pulling off horrible starts and afterwards chasing through the whole field, closing up to McGrath! ;) Fastest guy on the track, and a funny haircut ;P

Yeah that guy was byfar the hardest Motocross racer in the field on any given weekend. The young guys knew not to give him any disrespect from day one and the vets gave him nothing but respect untill he retired. Long live the ROCK.
