@babes0098 I don't think this is possible as the MIOS (gamecube IOS) when run shuts every USB, SD ports off. However can be achieve by hardmod although it's modchip specific.

Hey if you are Trying to fix the black and white problem Go to options in the backup loader and Make sure Force ntsc is on yes.

Not true for this version, for the newer ones, yes, but this is the old version, where it's stuck in black and white unless you have component cables.

It may be in one of my other videos, but there isn't one on its own. I'd find that to be kinda pointless, seeing how simple it is. You right click the iso, click burn, and you're done.

Honestly, it doesn't really matter. It's up to you, though, the general rule of thumb for burning is, the slower, the less chance of screwed up data.

If you go get the new iso loader you no longer have to worry about it, as it doesn't need patching. You can burn the .iso's with ImgBurn.

Uhh, what? Once you follow all the steps in my Step-By-Step video, you can put both loaders on the SD Card and select the one you want to run from inside the Homebrew Channel.

looks as if that game runs very well on the loader i have, sega bass fishing, sega superstar tennis. both play really well, load times are a little anoying but it's not really a problem. big brain academy works well also. when burning games usually x3 speed works best altho i have burnt some a little faster for the cinematics to run smother. great video mate keep it up.

If so, just place the wad for the CIOS into

X:/wad/ on the sd card, then run any wad installer, such as Wad Manager or the normal installer that comes with the Hack.

It's a program that allows the disk drive to be used and read from outside the main Game Channel, such as the DVD movie player and this iso loader.

A quick search on google will have installers for it. After installing the CIOS, the installer for dvdx will let you install to the new ios, opening the disk drive for backup playing.

I'm NTSC, I dumped the ISO file of an original game using waninkoko DVD dumper, and then used the backup-creator.exe with the filename.iso to patch it (I've the common-key and all stuff), the partition.iso file gets there really fast and is only 2kb, any clues?

use WiiFrii by waninkoko on PAL iso to convert it to NTSC. WiiFrii can patch any ISO for wii to play in your region ;) So you figure hmm PAL iso loader..Fine i get pal iso and change its region then load it ::P see description for compat list of the backup loader :P

Ever since Waninkoko said that he would consider starting the project again after its cancellation, I've just been waiting for an NTSC version of the loader. You could always get the PAL version of the game, but the image would be somewhat stretched out, as it has been with my experience of PAL-region PS2 games in the past.

I'll say it again, Sluggers does NOT work. And it's a Memorex dvd-r. I've had good experiences with them.

Hmm, I've got Memorex DVD+R. I'll try Okami once I have obtianed it, or I'll dump my friend's Mario Kart.

However, the ret -6 error is not relevant to only sluggers- I've read that sluggers doesn't work but the loader can at least try to get it started. So far, I've had no luck with anything. Maybe I installed DVDX wrong? Maybe it's because I used the patchmii installer for cIOS 4? i dunno.

Did you make sure to choose 249 in dvdx installer? Also, make sure you have Rev 5 of Cios. Lastly, be careful with Okami, the PAL version has been declared not working.

Oh, and I just remembered. When trying to play Cooking Mama, I also got a ret -6, then I restarted the Wii and waited to insert the disk until the main screen of the loader, and since, it's worked fine. So, I'm not quote sure what that error is about.
