is it realy a Kip Kay Vid ?? nearly all five are lame. Nearly all camera tripods costing less than 10 $ have a leveler of that sort. Soft glow look can be achieved by many different forms of paper cut to proper sizes. The bungee cord will make camera handling even more difficult. Wen you need to run wires in front of doors We use cello tapes and best cover 'em up with a door matt, looks fine and no body trips over.

Nice tips except for the last one... I'm failing to see how it would add stability since you have constant downward tension? I thought proper camera holding techniques were as simple as just using a nice steady hand on the base. But who knows!

Kipkay, I am an upcoming videographer, and Im about to buy an HD camcorder, any suggestions? Im used to buying off ebay too but I only have about a $400 limit for mainly outdoor stuff. Any suggestions would be great!

Also keep making these tips videos they are great!

And dont worry about the people calling you a sellout on the other video anyone would do that , a paychecks a paycheck.

On that same note with the threaded eyelet you used as a makeshift tripod...I used my soldering "extra hands" base with the alligator clamps for a makeshift tripod. I put a bolt in my threads, and the alligator clip clips to it.

Instead of risking placing a valuable camcorder on a wedgie where it can fall off from vibrations, but a smaller tripod instead, as they have ones out there for fairly cheap that can go as low as the ground if that is the effect you want.

Costs about 16 bucks.

I guess if you have money falling ouot of your ass, you can be carelss with valuable equipment, as break one & just go out to buy a new one, but not everyone has that type of money.

With a smaller tripod like mine, you can get a ground shot from as low as a few inches off the ground, and it is a lot safer than using some rubber wegie.

I bought a tripod made by Hama, its made from aluminium and the legs have gas cylinders so its stays open and doesent rattle around . Paid only 13 bucks for it.

Mine's aluminum like your with rubber pads on each leg, builtin level, & each leg rotates out to 180 degree, which is not bad for 16 bucks, but I like the larger tripod better, built heavier.

Vibrations from traffic or even people moving through the house will cause the camera to fall over eventually, & place the camera at risk of damage.

Anyone who knows anything about electronics knows it does not take much to damage them, & as a final word on doing what Kipkay suggests.

Were one to do as Kipkay suggests, and it gets damaged, forget the warranty, as what you did would fall under user negligence.

OLd Kip has corporate sonsors to replace anything he might break, do you?
