Interesting that you mention that because I think there is really something to what you've said. Routinely the people of countries who are at odds with each other still go nuts over the same music and musicians. I think love for music and the arts have a lot of potential for doing just what you have stated - when you see people in another nation - even one of the 'axis of evil' (I use that term sarcastically) as fans of the same music it's just one more thing to show that we are all the same.
