You know what's ironic? You're painting/writing the kanji "Water" and your strokes are fluid like a serene river. The music just adds to the greatness of it.
This is really cool, but for some reason I can't figure out the intelligent pattern in the world, like seperate letters or sounds. Although, i'm sure japanese people think the same of our writing. xD
Well this is a kanji... essentially, to my understanding, a Chinese character. Japanese has three written languages: Kanji 水(water), Hiragana みず (water), and katakana ミズ (water again). This different written languages are used all at the same time for different parts of speech. I first learned Hiragana and then katakana and then some Kanji. Because the Kanji are the Chinese characters there are a lot to learn.
So to get around to it you do not exactly see a pattern of sounds or anything in the kanji. These characters evolved from ancient symbols that look like what they represent. So the symbol for water perhaps used to look like a water drop or something else, or perhaps still looks like something water related but because its supposed to look like someone you won't find a pattern or anything. What you're probably thinking more of is Hiragana and katakana.
first some Kanji that look like what they mean...
川 means river
山 means mountain
月 means moon
一 means one
ニ means two
but anyways back to Hiragana and Katakana. These are syllable based languages that follow a patter, you can probably find a syllabary, a chart of all the symbols, easily on the internet. So the two languages use symbols that represent a syllable/sound. For example み, hiragana, is pronounced "mi" and ミ , katakana, is also pronounced "mi".
So if you're looking for sounds and words and patterns look for Hiragana and Katakana, not so much Kanji. If you learn the Hiragana and Katakana you will see symbols from these in the Kanji but that means nothing about how they are pronounced (the symbols for Katakana and Hiragana were just taken from Kanji)...
I hope this was easy to understand and not overcomplicated or anything... Japanese is a beautiful and fun language... but it is also complicated and hard...
@HornPlayer983 -im sorry but u just lost me after "This different written languages are used all at the same time for different parts of speech." it still looks like chinese to me.(lol.cuz i am!) anyway thanks-i get it..sorta..ok not really.not like im gona use kangi in my life
can i make a request for some words to be written in Japanese? if i can, then pleas let it be "humility" "hajime" "love" "heaven" and "passion", i thank you so much and i look forward to hearing from you.

Your kanji videos are so much more soothing than all the other videos I find. Not just the music, but the way you paint it. <3
