@aaron13133 Via isn't "owned" by CN it's a separate Crown Corporation. It's on CN tracks because CP doesn't want passenger trains on their tracks anymore, save the Rocky Mountaineer, which pays a huge chuck of change to the CPR for the rights.
I have rode that Long Summer consist before and had a room on the one of the rear cars so if I needed to make my suitcase I had to walk through almost 30 cars I only had the roomette all I could afford in those days so the suitcase was in the baggage car I still enjoyed rideing this train except for VIA not allowing people to open the top dutch door to take train videos or photography
@yurysausage thats cool I last rode the Canadian in the early 2000s and I was happy to see it than there when we stoped but VIAs stupip policy of no opening the vestabule windows sucks

@iusetano awesome! yes the train is great but the station here is a hell hole, it is the most rancid looking thing i have ever seen, and in my eyes brings great shame to such a prestigious train.
