However i will admit this is the first time id looked at a game for the wii in quite a whiledue it it clearl being an infior system when compared to my 360 and PC. @MrmUdKiPzzz Xbox fanboy says what? Geo Wars is not a shiny graphics game. It is retro. Vector style graphics. Look it up if you don't know what that means, as you probably weren't around 30 years ago. The game on the Wii looks just like it does on the 360 and has significant gameplay improvements. It can be played with the Wii Classic Controller, which is just as good as any current gen controller available. So the Wii Geometry Wars game is inferior how again exactly?

Even thought the additional game modes dont look quite as good as the original 6 they still look good fun to play. However i wouldnt want to frok out £25 + for whatever this game cost when it was new, nor even now with reduced prices becuase for what you get on the xbox it is great value for money.

The game doesn't have any online multiplayer because if there is any slight amount of lag, it will throw everything off. Since it's Nintendo Wi-Fi we're talking about, lag is going to be common. Now with Xbox Live, there isn't usually that much lag because we pay 50 bucks a year. However, there still isn't any online play in Geometry Wars 1 and 2 on Xbox Live which surprises me. The Xbox 360 version is better and has better graphics. Yes, Im a Xbox 360 fanboy. But its a fact the 360 is better.

Seriously. Gameplay is the ONLY thing that anyone should be focused on. If you can see what's going on, the graphics are good. It doesn't matter how many polygons you use, or even if you use models as opposed to sprites. It seriously doesn't matter nowadays.

Nice review. Not only does that game kick ass, but it's also a breath of fresh air from cutting edge eye candy graphics, though I was kinda disappointed that it doesn't have online play even though on the over, it says "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection", which is used for High Scores in this game.
