It is an acquired taste. I saw a performance of his a long time ago on Link TV. It was very nice -but I couldn't quite get it. But once I started reading about the philosophy of the Sufis ( the text:"Principles of Sufism" by Nahid Angha and several websites,) I began to understand the spirit of the late Khan sahib's music. May he be received into Paradise! Or, as a hindu, I would say: may he attain Nirvana!: same thing.
