This game really did freak me out when I got to the upside down castle. The bosses (esp. beelzebub) and the castle itself were damn scary.

1) Use the map if you can't find your way around. 2) Use a joypad if you're dumb enough to play on an emulator. 3) Don't use crissaegrim.

i dont know why everybody still talking that crissaegrim is the better weapon in the game, the better weapon in the game its the muramasa sword, it can reach 999 of AP, can kill galamoth with only three hits

in 30 minutes i found it was pretty simple if you stay in the place where the shmoo comes to you, you kill it and enter to the same room again and again and finnally founded :D

item obtained @ 9:35. fun fact: seems the name crissaegrim came from a place in jrr tolkien's world. its the place where the great eagles reside. refered to as eagle's cleft or abode of eagles. (thx wiki lolx)

This is the only weapon i could beat that giant gold thing that shoots lightning. IT was ridiculous. Especially since i didnt farm to get this weapon. I didnt use anything i just found it.

in one of the doors the minute u enter a smooch attacks u and u can just kill it backstep re-enter and kill it again, its the fastest way to farm for teh sword, its ridiculusly overpowered though 1st time i played the game i had the luck to get it very very early and i dominated the 2nd castle without a sweat, most bosses died before doing anything, it wasnt that much fun.

@666inquisition666 shit as it is, it gives an insane +30 luck boost. He just had poor luck having it drop, I recall finding it after my -first- kill XD...

that weapon, cool as it is, breaks the game though. get that weapon and its pretty much enough to win the game.

@TheDSGamer umm if you enter the libary go right until you reach a place where you fall and cant reach the ground whith double jump. there are 2 schmoos there which can easily be killed you kill the first one with standing atack and second one crouching atack. i got 200kills like in 10 minutes and with bad luck i got grim sword

@UltimateUberLord The Crissaegrim is in every version and while it does less damage per hit than Alucard's sword, it is much faster and you can use it while moving. So its dps is higher, but not single hit damage.

I bought dracula x chronicles for PSP that had SOTN on it appareantly (didn't even know about it back then) , i got crissaegrim the first time i played it and went through the rest of the game without any effort lol. How's that even fun? It's a nice game but crissaegrim is a major failure. (I didn't even grind for it i just go it without knowing what it was!!)

I like to use covenant stones (dropped by Azaghal in reverse Orlox place) with mine to make my attack go up. This really helps with luck cheat :)

I'm probably gonna get laughed at for this but it droped for me twice and i missed em both times, once, mi familiar killed the head and i got so hasty that a scarecreow pushed me out of the room, second time i was SO atomatized going in and out of the room that i zoned out of the room and the sword was on the floor..

If you level up your sword familiar to 99, it will have an attack power of 246 when you wield it. If only it had the same properties as the Crissaegrim. =/

i hve the psp version, so maybe its different or something

I am doing this right now and it blows. I've gone in and come out of the room so many times I'm starting to hate myself. I want this sword though. I even have the Ring of Arcana and Alucard items on and still no dice yet and only one Fist of Tulkas.

the ring of arcan is the boost chance of getting rare items ring right? what you should do is put your ghost familiar on, go to the room where the flying heads are, then go to the neastmost door and kill the head go out the door, go back in and kill the head again making sure that you dont go back through a door if the head drops one, just keep doin it, youll get one.

OMFG check out the mother fuckers i was doing exactly and what you did and i got it !!! thanx man then i go to save then after i saved i killed the enemies then one of the enemies drop a Crissaegrim now i have 2 Crissaegrim that stupid why he didnt drop a Crissaegrim from the biggening he started to drop Crissaegrims after i got one :S 5/5
