if you had a daniel defense m4 you wouldnt have to worry about room to get to the buttons on the red dot as it has a flush rail from rear all the way to the front iron sight. just sayin
You can get this gun at Dunham's sports for 900 bucks. Of course you'd have to buy the moe stuff separate since it's just the bare gun they are selling.
After the ban was lifted, or I mean expired, any shop that still had a few AR's with the "Law enforcement only" stamp were sold to most times first come first served. But some suppliers held on to them cause they thought it would be worth more (sadly not). Nothing special about it.

i want to put the MBUS front and rear on my rifle but i have a gas block rail. now i installed a handguard rail system and figured i could just use the MBUS on that so i dont have to worry about melting the polymer. heres the thing. the picitini rail is like a hair maybe hair and a half higher than my forward rail : / is that a problem or should it not be so much off a difference?? can i stil use the mbus setup? also i have a 14 slot front rail system, is yours a 14 slot? or 18?
@J0Gu7 Do you by chance have a mil spec buffer tube and you bought a commercial stock??? If that's the case it would explain why it's such a tight fit.
@J0Gu7 i had the same problem, i had to grab onto the little metal post that lets you move the stock, Grab that and pull up (its a little hard as it is small), and slide it on
I had that same sling complete with magpul front mount. I like the 2 to 1 point option but no padding on the sling digs after a long tac class I suggest putting all the hardware from the magpul onto a vtac sling. That's what I ended up doing and it's great now.
@ch7849055 You can hold your rifle however you want. If it works for you then hold it by the magazine. Don't let anyone else tell you other wise. Now there are some drawbacks from holding it there but you do what works. The only drawback from holding it there is your contact points are close together and located at the rear of your rifle which allows the barrel to sway more than if you gripped it at the forehand rail. Hope that helps.
@borborcarcar No it's not just for looks, it really does increase the grip on the magazines. It's especially helpful if you don't wear gloves regularly and your bare hands get sweaty.

great looking rifle i have a similar set up but mine is a stag rifle and have afg grip and no eotech (maybe in the future). i have a quick question before i try it out myself; does the magazine catch on to clothing or rub against anything because of the grip tape? i run with a tac force cross draw vest. thanks

This Patrolman model is no different than a civilian M4. Only difference being you can order the Patrolman in safe/semi-auto/three-round burst, safe/semi-auto, or safe/semi-auto/full-auto, which of course three-round and full auto require a special license. Judging by your selector switch, you have a simple safe/semi-auto. I also have 4 magazines that are stamped "For government and Law Enfocement purpose Only" that I bought at a hunting store BERFORE I was a LEO. Don't let stamps fool you guys.

That "military contract" thing is one of the worst of all the myths that go around on the net involving Bushmaster. The U.S. militiary EXCLUSIVLY uses Colt and FN weapons and compoments.
@danieldefenseM4 I didn't get it off the net but from a trusted shop owner. It's Armalite and Bushmaster. It's all the Stoner gang and their designers anyway. Still a nice rifle.

@MrClaysta Don't worry you aren't busting my bubble, it's a real EOTech that I ordered through my dealer and actually had serviced by EOTech themselves. So unfortunately your instincts are wrong, it is real.
For those who are wondering, the his rifle isn't special..unless its a $5k rifle/class 3..the law enforcement/gov't use stamps do not necessarily mean that. Unless the merchandise is former LE/gov't property, a class III weapon.... full auto, select fire, or it's intended only 4 LE/gov't, such as infrared equipment like PEQ lasers, the stamp doesn't matter. The Eotech he has on the rifle as well as others, is also stamped with LE/gov't use only. You can buy those anywhere that sells optics.
Many firearms are Marked Law Enforement Only; when they over make they can sell to the public, or if they make them in anticipation of sales then dont get them either way you 'did not' get a rifle in a 'qestioable way' unless you realy did and if you did you wouldnt (or shoudnt) have made this video. Enjoy it, it is not Piston Driven is it (MOE sometimes are)
I would put a gernade launcher and a bayonet.on it. dont forget the flashlight and the laser...and a bi pod..then when it weighs 25 pounds get a wagon to pull it around. but thats just me!
well done review, word of advice to "all". If you swap out the front sight for a "gas-block-rail, don't use ANYONE'S plastic sights as they tend to melt from the transferred heat from the barrel.

this guy i dont think is a magpul fanatic or anything people, there is a bushmaster patrol rifle you can buy from the factory with all the magpul accessories already installed on the rifle. kind of a concerted effort between both companies. and by the way it looks awesome to. the only things i dont like is the vertical grip, but i dont use a vertical grip anyway, just dislike them in general, and im not a fan of magpuls BUIS, other than those, i pretty much like all of magpuls accessories.
My daddy got me a AR-15 and its to heavy for me and I got PMAGS are those any good and please tell me if i can make it lighter im not very big so i dont need a like 20 pound gun

@ch7849055 It's not bad but it's not the most effective in terms of recoil and follow up show control.
The mag/magwell grip is used on smaller than carbine length submachine guns because the barrel is so short you can control the recoil easily.
As the barrel lengthens it's better to grip the weapon further out to mitigate the recoil and sway.

I also have 4 magazines that are stamped "For government and Law Enfocement purpose Only" that I bought at a hunting store BERFORE I was a LEO. Don't let stamps fool you guys.

That "military contract" thing is one of the worst of all the myths that go around on the net involving Bushmaster. The U.S. militiary EXCLUSIVLY uses Colt and FN weapons and compoments.

For those who are wondering, the his rifle isn't special..unless its a $5k rifle/class 3..the law enforcement/gov't use stamps do not necessarily mean that. Unless the merchandise is former LE/gov't property, a class III weapon.... full auto, select fire, or it's intended only 4 LE/gov't, such as infrared equipment like PEQ lasers, the stamp doesn't matter. The Eotech he has on the rifle as well as others, is also stamped with LE/gov't use only. You can buy those anywhere that sells optics.

Many firearms are Marked Law Enforement Only; when they over make they can sell to the public, or if they make them in anticipation of sales then dont get them either way you 'did not' get a rifle in a 'qestioable way' unless you realy did and if you did you wouldnt (or shoudnt) have made this video. Enjoy it, it is not Piston Driven is it (MOE sometimes are)

well done review, word of advice to "all". If you swap out the front sight for a "gas-block-rail, don't use ANYONE'S plastic sights as they tend to melt from the transferred heat from the barrel.

this guy i dont think is a magpul fanatic or anything people, there is a bushmaster patrol rifle you can buy from the factory with all the magpul accessories already installed on the rifle. kind of a concerted effort between both companies. and by the way it looks awesome to. the only things i dont like is the vertical grip, but i dont use a vertical grip anyway, just dislike them in general, and im not a fan of magpuls BUIS, other than those, i pretty much like all of magpuls accessories.
