It took me a while to comprehend the fact that me and Chance are from the same town. My shop teacher knew him when he was just a kid, and he eventually moved from Colorado to Wyoming. Every single Memorial Day, the School's Staff has us write our family / friends names on Red, White, or Blue stars and post them on the main hallway's walls, and there is at least 7 pictures of Chance up there. Thank You Chance, for what you did, it makes me proud to know that we share the same home.

Thanks for sharing videos and photos of Chance. After watching the movie, I felt I knew him well. This was the most moving film I have ever watched. I am 44 years old and have never cried during a movie, that is, until seeing this movie by happenstance while on a flight. I cried three times with the most intense during the credits when they showed pics of Chance, as the handsome, happy, all-American kid who had the same dreams and aspirations as the rest of us. RIP, PFC Chance Phelps.

Just saw the movie...what a brave young man. Hard to express how this film makes me feel, words feel so inadequate when trying to express gratitude for what these soldier and their families give for all of us. His family is in my prayers.
