  • Whoa whoa, sorry, but YES indeed Loretta is alive and well living in Pennsylvania. She continues to compete in Special Olympics, including figure skating in the 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games. She also travels to schools speaking to youth about why the word 'retard' is hurtful and why they should choose to stop saying it.
